Not sure why i'm having such a hard time today but I cannot for the life of me remember how to enable a heated bed in Marlin firmware for the Brainwave board. I have set the heated bed thermistor table to 5 and i have verified that the pins are correct in pins.h but no matter what I do I cannot get Repetier Host to display a temperature for the bed, it just doesn't exist. I now I've run inot thby labmat - Delta Machines

Hello Oliver, What I found was a problem with the interaction between Repetier Firmware and Repetier Host on OS X, If I connect a Windows netbook with Repetier Host for Windows the problem does not occur. I have not heard from anyone else to see if I am an isolated case or if others are experiancing the same thing. I am unfortunately not familiar with the error you are experiancing.by labmat - Firmware - mainstream and related support

I was able to connect and control the hotend and hotbed with Repetier-host on my windows netbook. Not sure why the OSX version won't control them, is anyone else experiancing this issue?by labmat - Firmware - mainstream and related support
So after manually configuring Repetier firmware to work with my G3D LCD I have found that there is nothing wrong with my configuration, I can control the hotend and hotbed from the controller. However I cannot control them from Repetier-Host on my Macbook Pro, I'm running the latest version of the host software available for OSX 0.56. I have a windows netbook that I also have Repetier instaledby labmat - Firmware - mainstream and related support
I am trying to get my Rostock Mini up on Repetier firmware 0.83 and am having no luck getting the hot end, heated bed and extruder to work. The thermistors appear to work just fine, I am getting good temperature readings back in Repetier Host but when I tell it to heat up the hot end or heated bed nothing happens. I checked through pins.h and believe that I have everything set correctly, what eby labmat - Firmware - mainstream and related support
Sounds good, I'll check back in a few weeks to see if any are available. I would love to add a Tantillus to my fleet of printers.by labmat - Tantillus
This is an awesome design, I have to build one. Are you going to release a parts list for this guy, I'd love to start collecting parts. Also does anyone know what going on with the Tantillus.org store, I was ready to buy one a few months ago and have checked the store ocassionally to see when it would be back up and when I checked it lastnight it said it was closed until further notice.by labmat - Tantillus
You were right about my pulley settings being incorrect, I forgot that I purchased 40 tooth MXL pulleys, I thought I had 36 tooth GT2 pulleys. I set my steps per unit to 39.41 and now I'm dead on. Not sure why I purchased 40 tooth pulleys but I'm sure I had a good reason at the time. Thanks Nicholas!by labmat - Delta Machines
My prints are perfectly square and perfectly straight. I followed Steve Graber's instructions on YouTube for leveling and changed the DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET to tune out my cupped travel, that seemed to work pretty well. I will tweak my DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT and see how this affects my print scale. Thanks Nicholasby labmat - Delta Machines
What filament size do you plan or running?by labmat - Delta Machines
I have worked out most all of the kinks with commissioning my Rostock Mini and am getting some really great prints. The only issue I am having is that the parts are coming out too large. The Empire State building for example was supposed to come out 200mm tall, it came out 227mm tall, it is also too large in X & Y. I am unsure how to correct this discrepancy and was hoping someone here hby labmat - Delta Machines

I'm such an idiot, I had the X & Y Endstops mixed up. She is homing like a champ now! Also such a rookie mistake on the M119. End Stops not triggered < 9:36:02 PM: Reporting endstop status < 9:36:02 PM: x_min: TRIGGERED < 9:36:02 PM: x_max: open < 9:36:02 PM: y_min: TRIGGERED < 9:36:02 PM: y_max: open < 9:36:02 PM: z_min: TRIGGERED < 9:36:02 PM: z_max: open End Stopby labmat - Delta Machines
Ignore my Repetier results above I get different values everytime I run G119 no matter what I do so clearly I am doing something wrong.by labmat - Delta Machines
Is this correct? I have never edited a pins.h file before /**************************************************************************************** * Arduino Mega pin assignment * ****************************************************************************************/ #if MOTHERBOARD == 3 || MOTHERBOARD == 33 || MOTHERBOARD == 34 #define KNOWN_BOARD 1 //////////////////FIX THIS//////////////by labmat - Delta Machines
I am trying to commission my Rostock Mini but am having trouble with homing, the axes all slam into the endstops but fail to stop. I am running Marlin V1 for Kossel on a RAMPS 1.1 board and have the Signal and Ground or each axes MAX limit wired to the NC termanals of each microswitch. I have verified that endstoppullups are enabled in firmware and a quick continuity test shows that the switcheby labmat - Delta Machines

Hello Jeremie your blog post was actually mentioned and linked to at the beginning of this thread. I thank you for creating this script, I have had fun using it and have amazed coworkers and family members with the simulated wood grain. I have done some playing with the temperature settings to get a greater contrast on the prints. I have it dialed in pretty well at 180° - 230°, I haven't messeby labmat - Slic3r
After a few failures, I have successfully completed a print with visible rings. The owl turned out pretty good, only one dark booger on tip of one of his wings. I will be tweaking the settings some as I would like to see even more color variation. Thanks for posting the script Bob!by labmat - Slic3r
I kinda fixed my own problem, I searched the web and found that those of us running OSX or Linux should add the following line to the beginning of the Wood.py script #!/usr/bin/python Once I did this it took me a little more time to figure out that I had to specifiy the exact file path for the input and output gcode file, I had just assumed that that the script would know to find the input andby labmat - Slic3r
Not sure what changed, all I did was try to run the script one last time before giving up for the night and I go the following errors. I just get a permission denied error when I try to run it on my MacBook, I must be doing something wrong.by labmat - Slic3r
That woud be pretty awesome, how difficult is it to write this script?by labmat - Slic3r
Darn, I guess I can only hope that this functionality makes it into Slic3r on its own. Kinda wish he would have made the plugin as a separate script you could run on any g-code file.by labmat - Slic3r
I've been doing a lot of Laywoo-D3 printing lately and have been getting great results with Slic3r (I wish I would have ditched Skeinforge sooner). I haver however been wanting to vary the temperature throughout the print like demonstrated on Jeremie Francois blog , really neat stuff. Does anyone know if his plugin is compatible with Slic3r?by labmat - Slic3r
