Thank you goopyplastic, greatly appreciated!by yonray - Tantillus
@goopyplastic Is it possible you could post the solidworks files for the printed parts or you could email me, yonray@yahoo.com. It would be greatly appreciated!by yonray - Tantillus
Thank you guys for your response, I haven't printed them as yet. currently I don't have 3d printer, but will let someone print the parts for me. I like goopyplastic design, just wanted to make sure that there was no play with the bearing and the holder. This is actually my first 3d printer I am building, just wanted to make sure there was nothing to throw off the accuracy. @ goopyplastic, great dby yonray - Tantillus
@goopyplastic, the corner brackets that hold the 608 bearings. what is the diameter, is it a tight fit without play?by yonray - Tantillus
Thank you Sublime, it is all cleared now! I like your design though, its really neat!by yonray - Tantillus
@ Sublime. Hey, I am new to the reprap, but i really admire your Tantillus 3D Printer, I just wanted to know how the calculations for Tantillus are done in terms of: How is the calculation is done like how fish wire is being used with Herringbone gears, what values are we dealing with? I am not sure what values to put in! 1) Steps per millimeter X and Y Steps = motor Steps per revolutionby yonray - Tantillus
