I was looking for the Gen4 interface kit for my Makerbot and I couldn't find it. So I grabbed the schematic from the interweb and now I just need an LCD to use. So my question is does anyone have a 16x4 or 20x4 display that they have lying around or that they want to sell? Thanks, Kurtisby kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
It was a great night, I definitely got a lot of good stuff out of it. P.S. That Tantillus is looking pretty sweet.by kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
I definitely want to come to the meeting, last time I came was in November.by kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
A heat gun can solder those kind of components with flux, pre-tinning the pads, and the low setting on the heat gun. Last I checked Home Depot had a good one (the Chilliwack one) that would work for that.by kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
Yea, the blades don't cost much at all so I ordered a few dozen. I will still be on the lookout for a suitable dremel cutoff wheel that is thin enough.by kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
So I found a good source for these saws for future reference, Lacy West. The nice thing is that they are in Vancouver. Also, if you're curious, I am buying these saws to put the slits in my MK6 stainless steel tube. I found a fellow online that had the same problem and he was saying that a jewellers saw is your best bet, just so the PTFE doesn't bulge out too much if at all. I'm looking for a local source or an online source to get a jewellers saw. If anyone has an idea or a substitute that would be great. Thanks, Kurtis.by kburr - Canada, Fraser Valley B.C. RUG
