DIY Filament Review for PEEK (Polyether ether ketone)
Source of pellets: … al-pellets
Note, I emailed elmoret(Tim) and he was able to order these pellets very quickly(<1 week). Thank you Tim!
Pre Drying instructions: I used a toaster oven at 150C for 4 hours -see figure 1. Not sure if this was overkill, but it worked and the filament was dry enough to print with. After the pellets were drie

I have a problem with my azteeg x5 mini where if I trigger one endstop, the board thinks all of the enstops are triggered. It doesnt matter which axis, if the x or y or z axis enstop is triggered then m119 show all of them being triggered. I have tried multiple configs and a whole new set of enstops, is my board broken?

Hey, I am having some issues and questions about the 3dr. In the video, did the amount of play in the effector seem reasonable, and do you think the grinding/shaking is caused by cheap linear bearings or incorrect VERF?

I do not think the RUMBA board is 32 bit, so I will use x16 micro stepping for the x,y, and z axis's, and x32 micro stepping for the extruder.
In terms of caculating steps per mm, I am using fishing line to drive my printer, so is there a separate formula for that? Maybe I missed something in RichRaps how-to for the 3DR.

I am currently in the process of buildiung a 3DR, and am looking for some advice. My first question is about using these (Link: http://www.amazon.com/Sunkee-A3144E-OH3144E-Effect-Sensor/dp/B00ATNJH20/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1424879851&sr=8-3&keywords=hall+effect ) as endstops. My biggest question is what way the magnet needs to be facing (north or south pole) to trigger the sensor, and

I apoligize for my lack of communication, I have been busy with the launch of the kickstarter. I have no negative intentions.
You all raise valid points and I am sorry I do not have answers. Most if not all of the variables you have talked about I have not been aware of. I just wanted to try something with good intentions all long. Sorry for disrupting the forums.

If you have an industrial granulator you don't need to freeze the plastic before granulation however if you are using a blender you would need to freeze the plastic.

I would take your prints run them through a granulator then use a 20% regrind to 80% virgin material and use this mix in a filastruder.

Would anyone be interested in seeing your failed prints turn back into filament?
