Yes there is a 1.1 branch but the skp there is from de 2.5 version and navigating into the history is very odd to me because you can only view historic from a file note the master... But I'll search more I guessby laurent_P - FoldaRap

Led blinking - 11 years ago
Hi everyone ! I just instal led strip on my foldarap ! but one thing is buging me : The led are blinking when the nozzle is heating They are plug onto the minitronics 12v output. Can I do something to avoid the blinking ? Directly connect the led on the AC-power supply? Thanks a lot !by laurent_P - FoldaRap

hello ! I succeed in printing on cold glass I used standart UHU stic glue and a 4mm glass panel (I tried the Pritt brand but didn't worked) Just disable bed heating and print. now it stick very strongly on the plate... even too strong ! I want to make a quick release system for the panel now... to be continue!by laurent_P - FoldaRap

hi ! For the PTFE tubing, is it the same as the bowden tube ? For me it appear that the plastic didn't flow right : it made some bubble and sometime clog completly. So I decided to use a thin metal string to unclog it I used a single thread on a bicycle cable (approximatively 0.25mm) Strangely I had to use soe force to succes (I don't remember which size the nozzle is supose to be) immediatelyby laurent_P - FoldaRap

Yeah the last one doesn't need a fan but maybe the air that is flowing trought the heatsink is a little bit hot to cool the filament properly ?by laurent_P - FoldaRap

Salut ! j'ai remarqué que le filament se bloquais dans les connecteurs "push fit" du tube PTFE je ne sais pas pk et je n'ai pas trouvé de solution jusqu’à présent... Pour le plateau oui il faut une petite clef. Je compte me faire une petite pièce pour tenir l’écrou à coller sur le plateau en découpe laser " Bon même si cela pouvait paraitre évident ...Comme pour moi cela n'a pas été le cas .by laurent_P - FoldaRap

sorry I didn't meant to say to blow on the hotend but just rigth on top of the part which is printing because the default setup with the fan installed at the back of the hotend, seems too far from the actual objet that is printed, and it doesn't really cool it.by laurent_P - FoldaRap

I had some problem with an uneven cooling (retaction situated away from fan) So I thougth, I will make something like this : To get the air flow right at the nozzle. Is anyone ever try something like this? Do you have .STL ? Or else I tought about a bowden fan , hidden in the base. Just to share the ideas !by laurent_P - FoldaRap

In the video tutorial, Emmanuel did wrap some ptfe tape arround the thread. I also did it and I don't have leaks Also he recommand to tighten the nozzle while it's been heated to 200°c maybe it has something to do with this?by laurent_P - FoldaRap

I unscrew the nozzle and heated it with a hot air gun. It may not be the better thing to do because the PLA melt and sometime burn leaving black stain. Also if you heat the nozzle too much it may deform it.by laurent_P - FoldaRap

Nice ! glad I helped ! I had some clogging issue on the nozzle (After 3 to 5 print with the brand knew nozzle) and skipping stepper. but I think now the stepper are good.by laurent_P - FoldaRap

Hi I have some cloging on my goteo kit too. It clog after some times, and the stepper skipped. I cleaned the nozzle with a hot air gun and it unclog it But I think it does'nt extrude very well. I'll try to document my issue more went i'll have more timeby laurent_P - FoldaRap

All my whistling stopped after I adjust the volage, except for the extruder stepper. As I didn't know where to check for the 4v on the board, I folowed theses instructions : http://reprapworld.com/documentation/mtQS_11.pdfby laurent_P - FoldaRap

Hello guys! Emmanuel, is it better to have this kind of heated bed? I'm surprise how quick the peltier module heat the bed, I was use to wait 20 min on the solidoodle or is it, just to try something more compact maybe? Fernand, Pour moi je ferrai un réglage du PID, (PID tunning) Tu a plein de tuto sur internet. j'ai deja utiliser une commande pour le faire automatiquement mais je ne sauby laurent_P - FoldaRap

Okkaayy the feeding rate was set too hight, so I manage to clear the problem by returning to the default settings and adjusting it. Now I feel sillyby laurent_P - FoldaRap

hello everyone ! Finaly I printed my first piece just 15min ago ! but I stopped the print because the extruder stepper began to get very hot and start to whistle (in fact all stepper whistle but particularly the extruder one) I'm with Repetier-host v0,90c instead of pronterface And I try to lower the voltage on the stepper, he stop to whistle but continue to heat and skip time to time. bonjour Laurent En effet tu a raison c'est la 1.1. mais dans le github c'est la version 2 qui est situer dans le dossier principal. néanmoins Emmanuel à annoncer que les dernier kit envoyés seront de la version 2, j'imagine qu'il est donc possible de passer a la version 2 sans trop de difficultés (la plus grande étant, je pense, l'axe X qui devient un profilé alu) Pour l'instant j'ai réussi àby laurent_P - FoldaRap

Bonjour à tous j'ai reçu il y a quelque semaine mon kit hardware pour la foldarap et j'ai enfin accès a une autre imprimante pour fabriquer mes pièces J'ai regarder le github repo avec les pièces à imprimer.(https://github.com/EmmanuelG/Foldarap/tree/master/stl) Mais elle on changées depuis la dernière fois que je les ai vue est-ce qu'elle sont toujours compatible avec le kit du crowdfounding goby laurent_P - FoldaRap
