Hello, ça y est ça marche !! Wouhouuu !
Hi all, Bonjour Pascal, Thanks for your answer so far, unfortunately, I did'nt find time during the last weeks to work on it, I plan to do it this week-end and give some update Solarprism, can you explain to me what exactly is "the log" and how can I check it ? (with the arduino IDE for instance ?)
Hi everyone, I was printing as usual with good result when suddenly everything stopped, the motor stopped moving, the extruder fan stopped turning (the current was still on as the blue button is still on and shining). I use Repetier and I tried moving the extruder and restart the print but nothing moves anymore. I shut down the printer and unplugged everything but even though I managed to conneby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Thiasma -- Hi, My x stepper is getting too warm bby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi everyone, All my printing are going great on my Foldarap except one thing, the final filling. My last layer always show some gaps between the infill and the perimeter (as can be seen here Reprap Troubleshooting Infill Gaps). Sometimes I here the motor of the extrudeur idler skipping but it is not hot (lukewarm but not hot) so I did'nt try to lower the voltage. Moreover, sometime it does'nt skby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi Laurent, When you say "around the thread", are you talking about this first picture or the second one ? I did put back the PTFE tube inside the barrel as in the first picture but the leaking as not stopped. I managed to print two parts, the first one was great, the second presented some issues at the end on the plastic feeding and I realized that the PTFE tube was ejected from the "push fit"by Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi, Did you found a solution about your clogging problem ? I managed to print two parts, the first one was great, the second presented some issues at the end on the plastic feeding and I realized that the PTFE tube was ejected from the "push fit" (pneumatic fitting). I fear I have to clean the hot end after every printing...by Thiasma - FoldaRap
Thank you ! So the new list to change the firware is : 0. dowload all the files on Emmanuel github and put them in a common folder 1. plug the minitronics board to the computer 2. open Config.h (or anyother file you want to change) with a text editor, modify the code 3. Launch the Arduino IDE, and open the Marlin_FoldaRap_Minitronics.ino 4. Select the microcontroller Tools -> Board -> Arduby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi I am glad to call my Foldarap Harware kit without plastic parts operationnal ! She is far from being complete, in fact : - I didn't put the peletier on the bed so I print on a cold bed - I have just one fan - no end stop in Z (I don't have hot glue) so I have to manually set the origin before printing - I still have to put all the wire together - some plastic parts broke during the buildingby Thiasma - FoldaRap
I am using the kit nozzle but I don't think it will ruin the print either, if I stay near the printer I can swip the drop it before it falls of the nozzle.by Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi, I think this is quite a noob question but I really not want to mess with the firmware I want to change the direction of my Y axis, I found that I just have to change the command #define INVERT_Y_DIR false In the Config.h file of the firmware but is this the only file to flash on the card ? This is how I understand it : 0. dowload the config.h file on Emmanuel github 1. plug the minitroby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hello Everyone, I just started the printing test of my brand new Foldarap (I don't remember my n° but I will search it soon) and I realized that a small amount of blackish plastic (I use natural coloured PLA) is leaking from the thread of the nozzle and the barrel. I remember tighting the nozzle and barrel quite strongly but I guess it does not prevent the leakage, the problem is now the plastby Thiasma - FoldaRap
I managed to make my first print attempt this afternoon and I had a similar clogging nozzle problem after the second layer, I am afraid I have to dismount the entire nozzle to find where the problem is... How did you manage the de-clogging ?by Thiasma - FoldaRap
Thanks for the instructions, it seems to work as they don't heat anymoreby Thiasma - FoldaRap
I found the information on the user manual page (quite obviously ^^') Build surface to 140x140mm XY mm/min : 9000 Z mm/min : 115 Heater temp : 195°C Bed temp : 55°C I am a bit surprised though because my stepper where getting warm at a lower feedrate, I will soon try these new data and give somme feedbackby Thiasma - FoldaRap
Hi, I believe I am in the same situation as you, my X-axis and Y-axis stepper are whistleling, getting very hot and sometimes they refuse to go in the direction I click (I use Pronterface). I think I found where to change this feeding rate you are talking but what is the correct value (for now I have 3000 for X and Y, 225 for Z and 100 for E) ?by Thiasma - FoldaRap
