I have a Dibond Mendel 90, and have lots of successful larger prints. Im in peterborough, maybe we can meet up and discuss. Im not saying im an expert but i have alot of success with little issue. maybe its the construction of the Mendel 90 over its other siblings.

I can definitely say the Nop head Mendel 90 is superb. I have one the first print that came off it was amazing. My blog details the build and some of prints.

This about my fifth print on the printer i have and the first time printing this particular object. Its on a mendel 90 by Nophead. Its an excellent kit.

I just managed to get the OSX Lion software working for skeinforge and Pronterface. I print this as my latest print. Will bring it along to the next meet.

I Have installed the FTDI drivers. Do i need to install D2XX library also ??? The port shows up in my profile.

Hi all, I have been using my Mendel 90 on windows for a while now. Id like to move to OSX on my Mac, i have download the necessary files as per the wiki, but i cant get Pronterface to connect to the printer. I really need some help, just cant figure it out .

Sorry was not thinking, so basically i have to either ream out or changed my nozzle and turn to ABS. so that implies its not replicating itself.... As im not at the stage of changing/altering my stock mendel 90, i should be able to print out my own parts for the machine even if its in pla with a 4mm nozzle. Enlighten me please.

Is there any reason why we could not have a set of gcode for the Mendel dibond that we can just send and print off the usb card from your good self chris (Nophead) ?. That way as its from you and we have the same printer thing will be all good. Whilst im learning the skienforge, id still want to get a full set of parts printed before something die's Cheeky to ask I know

I have ensured that my clamp sits at the front of the slot and the belt tension is set for that positioning. I have had no issues so far.

I combined all 12 wires then had some further better fitting gauge wire to that and then into the Connector. I have had no issue whatsoever with this method. Soldering the small length of thick gauge to the 12 wires is the best solution in my opinion.

I think i would like to discuss the merits of slicing software, and what people are using for cad designs. I'm persevering with openscad and Skienforge.. Whilst skienforge is giving me great results from the defaults supplied by Nophead with the build of my mendel 90 im open to testing other stuff for the greater good. Thanks for arranging once again the meeting..

Hi, I took my time really on the build, spending about 6-7 hours a day over the four days. If you had nothing better to do with your life and had no commitments you could build it in 2 days no problem. I had some numpty brain dead issue with the bed calibration but that was my fault. slowed me up by at least 3 hours I think. I will say that Nophead helped me out quite a bit after the first And
