Hi, I am currently trying to update to the latest Marlin 1.1 RC branch and use the current Arduino Version. To get there, I merged neildarows code with the current stable release of Marlin (1.0.2-1). Seems to works fine for me. If anyone is willing to test the code just send me a pm. When Marlin 1.1 and Arduino 1.6.8 is working for me, I will publish the code at github (@neildarow: maybe I canby sguzzel - Mendel90

Hallo everybody, I currently have a Problem with my Mendel90 from nophead after having really problems after printing Laywood. Let me tell the story: Due to the fact that my girlfriend wants to have name signs made of Laywood D3 for our upcoming wedding, I gave Laywood a try. Before that I only printed with Faberdashery and only had the common problems one coud have in a cold cellar. (Warping onby sguzzel - Mendel90
Looks like wet/not dry filament to me. Especially the bubbles on the rods. How do you store your filament? I read something about baking at 70degree filament to get the water out (see German: "3D-Druck für alle der do-it-yourself-guide oder aktuelle sonderausgabe der ct bzgl. 3d druck), but I am not sure.by sguzzel - Mendel90
What about this approach? Sadly I couldn't find any further information.by sguzzel - Mendel90
@helifrank: I think it's the one with rolls under it (not SAMLA). I can't find it only but I saw one right next to the SAMLAs when I was at IKEA's yesterday.by sguzzel - Mendel90
Thx 4 your help. How about the auto bed leveling with the melzi? Is there a tutorial one can stick to?by sguzzel - Mendel90
Hi neildarlow, first I would like to thank you for your work. Before flashing that firmware I have some questions: 1. In your branch you have: #define Z_HEIGHT_MM 203.0 In nophead's one it is: #define Z_HOME_POS (203.680) #define Z_MAX_POS (Z_HOME_POS - 0.1) Is the 0.1mm heat inducted expension of the hotend considered? Do I have to put 203.680 or 203.580 in my Z_HEIGHT_MM definition? 2. Abouby sguzzel - Mendel90
Hallo, I took the time last evening to calibrate my printing bed. That was when I discovered it isn't really even, the border is about 0,1mm higher than the middle. It looks now exactley like this: (not really scaled, and in bracets are the difference from the zero level in 0,01mm) |+10|..............|+10|..............|+10| ................................................ |+00|..............|by sguzzel - Mendel90
Now I am really confused, cause your start_code in Skeinforge has a M83.... what would happen if I use M82 with your mendel90? Regardsby sguzzel - Mendel90
I' am a bit confused about the relative Extruder mode: In the Mendel90 Manual at page 80 Nophead has set the print center to 0/0 and not ticked use realtive e distances. He suggests on page 81 to include M82 in the start code - But M82 is for absolute mode and in the skeinforge code he uses the right M83 command. Lions Setting of Slic3r does not include a ticket relative E and either a M83 codby sguzzel - Mendel90
