Can I ask if there is an ETA on the 1.09k firmware release. or should I just use the 1.09j firmware which is already available. Any chance I can ask if the 1.09j Raw Firmware files are available for download.by 3didd - Firmware - mainstream and related support
ok. I was not aware of the need to put the motors in Series instead of Parallel. what we are currently use are your standard Nema17's The Duet/Duex is driven via a 12v Power Supply. I will look at 24 volt supplies, this means that we need to change a couple of things to accommodate the 24v supply for sensors etc. So I was also looking at a bridging circuit to act as a current amplifier circuitby 3didd - Controllers
hey, I have built a large format printer 405x450x600. Was trying to get away with using 2x Z Axis Stepper Motors, but I really need 3x Motors, in a Triangle. Can I please some advice on driving 3x Stepper motors in parallel from the Duet/Duex Boards. When driving 2x Motors the Chips on the Board get quite warm/almost to warm to touch. I have added heat sinks and cools fans to the board but I doby 3didd - Controllers
hi, Today using the Pronto-Interface software we were able to print our first objects, on our custom made 3D printer. Machine is using the Duex/Duet Motherboard, which I have to admit that I have been very impressed with, and would recommend to anyone. Can I please ask if people with experience using the WEB interface can provide some guidance on; 1) We can't seem to send GCode in the Web interby 3didd - Reprappers

The homing is going the correct way, changing the M569 was the first thing I thought of myself.... but discounted this when changing it moved the bed to home in the wrong direction. Currently the Bed is homing on the Z Axis in the correct direction, once homed, if I select the move +0.05 it moved into the Head instead of moving away from the Head. Attached is the homez.g file as suggested.by 3didd - General
Hey, I am setting up my Duet/Duex Board, being a bit of a novice probably not helping. For the X Axis and Y Axis I have no issues, everything is perfect. but for the Z Axis I have a end stop which is a Min End stop not a Max End stop like the X/Y Axis. My config.g file has the following M574 X2 Y2 Z1 S1 ; M574: Set endstop configuration M208 X405 Y450 Z500 S0 ; setby 3didd - General
hi, So I am a real Noob... I have been looking at Gcode and almost getting my head around things, but thought I would what is going to be silly questions. Using Duet/Duex Boards, and trying to set the Z Axis End stop to be the Min Position (Z=0) but still not getting it right. Below is the config I was trying to use.
