Hi Please could you give me some advise , the Stepper Driver POT on my Sanguinlololu is very loose. If I touch the POT with a screw driver, I am able to turn it 360 without it having a end or beginning.( I was very gentle with it as I know too much force can damage it) The Stepper driver is for my Greg;s Hinged Extruder motor and I need to turn current up to get my motor moving. I would appreciby scubi - General

Hi Andreas, No it's not local because I can not find it local, it's online at approximately $90.00 and still shipping which comes to approximately R900 So it's very expensive for me to buy it online. I bought 6m of solid Aluminum bar at R300. I can get square 20m x 20mm square tube , but that will still not help me. Thanksby scubi - General
Hi James Thanks for the help, I looked emailed the 3 main suppliers in SA and they don't do that size. Importing them is crazy with the price R900 and still R640 in freight. If I had to buy in SA it would cost me R200 in total . So you can see why it's so crazy with exchange rate and shipping. The sad thing is I have already bought all the printed parts and other items for the Mendelmax already.by scubi - General
Hi, I am unable to get the 20mm x 20mm Aluminums Extrusions in South Africa but can get a 30mm x 30mm . Would this work with the Mendel Max 1.5 ? Is there anyway I can make any modifications ? Thanks Vaughanby scubi - General
Hi Thank you guys, I think this is excellent advice . Build my first printer as the known configs, then change and add things. Hi , first thanks for an awesome forum. I am busy getting the parts to build a Mendelmax 1.5 and would like to know if I have to get a specific threaded rod or can I use a Leadscrew rod. When you finished building your printer , how does the software know how fast & how far the axis travels up and down. Do you input what type of Rod you use ? I saw one guy that was using a Lead screw to moby scubi - General
