Hi, I've just rewired my HBP to use a relay instead of RAMPS1.4 for its power as this was causing smoking etc.... Problem is, the relay turns out to be on when the imput is low and off when the input is high... is there an easy way of changing this in marlin?? About the not included toy mentioned earlier... There should be a link included to a particarly interesting or fun 3d model from thingiverse or even unique to the magazine?!by flemish4 - RepRap magazine
FIXED! A fan over the ramps board seems to have stopped it cutting out Thanks allby flemish4 - General Mendel Topics
It's hard to tell my multimeter only seems to go down to 1 ohm -.- so it flicks between 1 and 2. Will cooling the fuses help the bed then?by flemish4 - General Mendel Topics
Okay more info! The resistance is correct and the voltage is too until the bed hits 30 or 40 degrees, then it suddenly drops to 0.some volts!? Also the yellow capacitors(?) get really hot is this normal? Thanksby flemish4 - General Mendel Topics
CORRECTION! I misread my multimeter the resistance is close to that which it should be! So what could be causing the low voltage?by flemish4 - General Mendel Topics
Hey all! I have RAMPS1.4 with a PCB Hotbed v2 I've measured its resistance at 0.002ohms and its voltage at 0.3volts meaning it should have 150 amps through it?! does this sound right? also it will only head to 30degrees! HELPby flemish4 - General Mendel Topics
Hey all! I've just made my first prusa, I'm using PLA and I'm struggling to get it to stick! It works until a centimeter or two high then it just lifts slightly and pushes off Settings are as follows (inc all attempts at getting it to stick!): 170 .5 j-head 60 hot bed sand blasted glass (cleaned with acetone) largest first layer height allowed very slow speed... large brim and connecting skiby flemish4 - Reprappers
