I built Nightfly's version and everything works with Repetier except the SD card. Never have figured that out yet.by sonex128 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
I finally updated my firmware to 0.91 since I built a LCD SD Card for my Gen7 v1.5. Everything works on the LCD when no SD card is inserted except it always says SD Card inserted. When I insert a SD Card Repetier host says SD card inserted and then SD init fail. Also the Extruder LED starts flashing and the extruder slowly heats up. The encoder also will no longer select menu items when clickby sonex128 - Repetier
Has anybody built Nightfly's Gen7 ExtensionBoard LCD SD FAN? I built one and only have a problem with the SD card. Without a sd card in everything works. When I insert an sd card everything works except when you click the encoder it doesn't do anything. Not sure what the problem is. Brianby sonex128 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group

Any chance you could let people change feed rates on the z axis? I can't manually move or use the auto bed level because the z axis speed is too fast for my Prusa. Z axis works fine on homing. Brianby sonex128 - Experimental
I have been running my 1.5 board for quite a while with power just going through the disk connectors. I just bought a new ATX power supply and plugged it in, switched the jumper to ATX. When I turn it on one of the USB LEDs flashes and both the standby and power LEDs come on, when I connect with Repetier host it shuts the power supply down. Any tips on what to check? I changed from auto to Repetier protocol. I can now print large prints just fine. Brianby sonex128 - Repetier
In Repetier you can scale from the Object Placement screen.by sonex128 - Slic3r
When I try to print something big or multiple items. It will print fine for quite a while and then the extruder will start pausing randomly and a blk 3 will come up. When I print small thing it prints fine. Is there something that I am overlooking? Can not find much info about blk 3. Brianby sonex128 - Repetier

I tried it. Can't get it to fill the last layer. I set 2 solid layers and when I slice something the last layer is only perimeter.by sonex128 - Slic3r
Power going to the heaters I believe. Brianby sonex128 - Repetier
Got it fixed. Forgot about the max temp set in the firmware. Brianby sonex128 - Repetier
I have had my heated bed tuned for 60 degrees for PLA. Today I tried to tune it to 115 degrees for ABS. It ran for about 12 minutes and then gave me a PID Autotune Failed. Temperature too high. What do I need to do different. Brianby sonex128 - Repetier

I am using 1.75mm. I went with a modified QU-BD direct drive extruder/hotend. I went straight to a MK7 gear from Trinity Labs and a spring tensioner from thingiverse that I printed at FabLabTulsa. I haven't had any problems with it. It is compact and very reasonably priced. I just received GT2 machined pulleys and belt that I bought from eBay. You can get away with XL belt and printed puby sonex128 - RepRap User Group - Tulsa, OK
Looking forward to your Gen7 test. I really would like to be able to print with no computer hooked up. Been trying to figure out how to do it. I would like to try the Touch TFT that is on Thingiverse. Brianby sonex128 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Yes I basically have a Prusa Mendel 2. I am running Gen7 v1.5. Etched the PCB and built the board. I started with a set of cast Clonedel parts. I am replacing all the cast parts as soon as I can. I would be glad to print any parts you might want. The Prusa i3 and Mendel 90 are good machines. Probably easier to set up than the original Prusa. I am going to start working on putting a Rosby sonex128 - RepRap User Group - Tulsa, OK

The terminals in your BOM only fit the larger connector for the heaters. All the other connectors need the following size terminal.by sonex128 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Check your driver and also check your feedrate on the extruder. If you are trying to push more plastic than the nozzle can handle it will do that.by sonex128 - General Mendel Topics
My extruder consistently runs about 8 degrees below what I set it at. I can't start a print because it waits for the extruder to get to temp. Gen7 v1.5 Repetier firmware and host Qu-bd extruder and thermistor Brianby sonex128 - Repetier

What is the homing procedure in Repetier? Also when I click on the home axis buttons, the axis will move approximately 5mm in the positive direction and reset to zero. Brian Gen7 v1.5 Repetier firmware and host.by sonex128 - Repetier

Here is the V1.5 that I just got done. USB works great on it. Thanks Markus for all the work you put into it. Brianby sonex128 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
