The sE1X is very customizable in which, with just some longer 2020 extrusions/smooth rods/threaded rods you could easily get 20" out of one..just a thought. The original design is 11.8"x11.8"x10" and is available as a kit at . Also has dual extrusion available now. If you'd like to discuss more about making a larger sE1X, let me know!by papabur - General
I have been having a similar issue, glad to know its not just me..trying the suggested course of action now, thanks!by papabur - Slic3r
Hello, for those of you that don't know me, I'm papabur and have been envolved in the reprap community for over half a decade now.. I'm now selling kits of my sE1X large desktop 3D printer. With 6 out already, I have had nothing but good results from customers. People who have never even 3d printed before are getting great results with the sE1X. The reason for this, I think, has to do with choosby papabur - For Sale

I ended up having to do the same thing, recalibrate the steps in the firmware. Thanks for all the suggestions and help, much appreciated!by papabur - Reprappers
I recently obtained one of these hotends..I'm suprised no one repsonded to your post..I have it all hooked up, My only problem so far has been the heating unit...I can not get a good autotune done on it as it seems to shoot too far pass the set temp, forcing it to shut down and through a error on Rep. Host. I am going to try adjusting the PID settings and see if I can atleast get a good autotunby papabur - Reprappers

Garcads Water cooled hotend in action, nice work tx_!:by papabur - General
I will confirm that the water-cooled hotend has officially extruded PEEK, unfortunately though until the price per foot on the material goes down, it is nothing more then to show the overall capabilities that having water cooling can produce..Your smoking kraken if you think any other hot end out right now is going to let you reach 390c*. Very impressive Dirty Steve, nice work!by papabur - General
Quotebobc I think to demonstrate such a bold claim, you need to have higher res photo/video, because the print doesn't look great from that... I plan to get a nice camera soon, those are just done with the HD webcam, the pictures seem to be the best i think..by papabur - General
Lol...I saw that coming...im speaking about JUST air cooled...yes cars USE air but they still require liquid cooling(via a radiator/anti freeze/ etc.)..I could sit here and try to argue with all the nay-sayers(who are going to hate no matter what I say or do) but the proof is in the pudding. If you seriously think just because something works, that it does not need to be improved then where wouldby papabur - General
Im sorry but air cooling will never be as good as liquid cooled....i dont see very many air cooled vehicles these days...lol..? I stand by my claim 100%.by papabur - General
What started as just a idea between two friends has been brought to life and is printing better then any other hotend on the market right now, and we have proof: Youtube videos: Printer is a oldie but goodie, reprap prusa-mendel that I have done some custom improvements on, enjoy the videos and more to come! "It's possible that one of your motors is missing steps, check they get enough current from the stepper drivers" Thanks for the suggestion, I will check the Nema motor and make sure its getting enough power and this is a new problem I am just noticing..I have posted pictures of prints from a couple months ago on imgur : Also a update; the stepper driver started giving me issues yesterday...misby papabur - Reprappers
So I have recently noticed that my prusa is printing ovals isntead of circles and I was wondering if anyone knew what might cause this and/or a way to fix it.. Heres a picture of what my circle calibration print looked like: I have my belts tight as they can get and i have not had to change my steps for a long time but thats the only thing I think it could be...either X or Y axis steps are nowby papabur - Reprappers
