Very nice work there. It really look like a wood block. Interesting, using acetone to make wood like feeling.by botfeeder - Look what I made!
Wow, that's amazing. That's a very good paint job. I love it~by botfeeder - Look what I made!
From the poor prints, it seems to me you have a overflow extrusion problem. But it is un-clear. It could be just calibration problems. From what I see from your pictures. I noticed: - rough edges - concave outside when it suppose to be straight - uneven surface - pointy tips These are few signals that you have an overflow extrusion problem. After you try re-calibrating your printer, if thatby botfeeder - Printing
QuoteEddyMI3d Hello botfeeder, good suggestions. I already store my filaments in large (15 liters) buckets with lid. I also put a bag of air dehumidifiers into the buckets. I have a humidity of about 35% in those buckets. I do not have pets here, so the risk of fur hair is down to 0% I just got an Idea: Instead of a complete case, I could make a cover for the spool (a round tupper pot with liby botfeeder - Printing
Yes, it is possible that the dust cleaner is creating those sand substances. It is strongly suggested if you are not going to use the filament for some time, it is better to unload it and store in a dry, circulated area. If you are using on a regularly basis, you don't even need to use a dust cleaner on the filament. If you really want to prevent dust, you should build a case instead. It is betby botfeeder - Printing
I strongly agree that we need to standardized the size of all spool. This will make it much more easy to switch suppliers.by botfeeder - Printing
When you are manually feeding the extruder, make sure the temperature reaches around 180C for PLA. For quality plastic filament, the only cause for this blob tip is the temperature is not hot enough to melt the plastic completely.by botfeeder - Printing
Oh man, STOP using the filament!!! You need a new filament supplier!!! There is no way you are left with these dust. The filament you are using is "contaminated" & is classified as very low quality filament. These contaminants will damaged your printer. Please tell us the supplier, so we all can avoid using that supplier's filament.by botfeeder - Printing
Wow, that's amazing. I was waiting for a multi-color software just like this. Support!by botfeeder - General
Using zip tie is a good temporary fix. I would recommend you get another extruder. Making sure all the axes, extruder, print bed, and filament are critical in printing a great print. It might save you some time and unnecessary troubles.by botfeeder - General
I've tried a 3D pen... It does not work well with me... my hand is shaking too much and I am no artist ... so my print is terrible. Yea, It feels like playing with a glue gun.by botfeeder - General
If you tried applying kapton tape & re-leveling the print bed and it is still not working. There is a good chance it is related to the print bed temperature. If you are working with ABS, the ideal print bed temperature is around 100C. As for PLA i prefer around 55C. Both of them is printing without a cooling fan. If you are using a cool fan, ABS: 110C PLA: 65Cby botfeeder - General
From what I understand from your description, it seems like there might be a wiring problem. It happens to me too, they hook up to the wrong axis. Wait and see what they have to sayby botfeeder - General
It looks like a wiring problem. Did you receive any response from them yet?by botfeeder - General

pushthatbolder: Good question. Let me put it this way. Imagine printing with filament that you have to calibrate your 3D printer every print. No one enjoys the calibration process. And it should not be this way. Our tolerance we stated is +/- 0.05mm, but in fact it's better than that. We are pushing our limit to 0.03mm. For quality-driven user like you will enjoy it.
