Someone gave the $wgSpamRegex a bad regexp that matched everything. Try editing now.by dantman - Administration, Announcements, Policy
There are 4 spam filters configred on the wiki: Spam Blacklist, Bad Behavior, DNS blacklists, and a really basic $wgSpamRegex. Any example of a failing edit and the response from the wiki someone could use to figure out what filter is overzealous?by dantman - Administration, Announcements, Policy
I reduced my retraction distance from the default 4-4.5mm to 1mm and travel speed from 150mm to 50mm. And I managed to get the part to print. There was a bit of stringing and oozing onto the bed so I bumped it up to 1.5mm and 100mm which reduced that. Though I may need to do some more tweaks. My hot end is an official E3D-v6 from e3d-online. 1.75mm Universal 24V, and tubing from the bowden kiby dantman - Printing
Yes, I tightened it while hot each time. Except the time I was purging an actual clog and carelessly tried to push some fillament through and had to clean it up. I tried reducing my printing speed from 40mm/s to 10mm/s and I managed to print one in blue PLA. But I tried black PLA on the same settings today and it failed.by dantman - Printing
I've been having some issues with my extruder while trying to print a model. Part way through the print my extruder completely stops extruding plastic. I hear the expected clicking noise from the extruder stepper motor. The stepper jumps backwards instead of grinding the filament. And sometimes I hear a sort of creaking noise (from the filament?) If I stop the print, raise up the axis, and telby dantman - Printing
Quotemilkypostman The creator of the Wilson sells kits. I don't know how but I found out info about it somewhere. You can search eBay for his sales and contact him directly about it. Originally I was going to source the parts myself then learned about the kit. I never managed to find his eBay store even when I searched for it. Quotemilkypostman Guess it's too late for you now so sorry about thaby dantman - Extruded Aluminum Frames
It's a bit late to reply now. I've already assembled a portion of the frame. And the RAMBo I ordered just arrived in the mail today. Quotemilkypostman you can hook up the rambo and use it to print your own mount. i mean, the rambo doesn't *need* to be mounted. just put a fan on it. Yeah. I'll end up doing this. QuoteTraumflugLooks like you know what you're talking about :-) Very nice! I haven't been active recently, but I'm still one of the MediaWiki developers. QuoteTraumflugWe have only one server and fixes/changes usually happen on the running system. We could have another one, but, you guessed it, setting this up is more work. Then, breaking the wiki or forum for a minute isn't a problem, preparingby dantman - Administration, Announcements, Policy
QuoteTraumflugThere's no shortage of "suggestions". We all know this. Still it's simply a lot of (unpaid) work. Just yesterday I spent the better part of a day to sort cron jobs and fixing the backups. All this while reception of wiki and forum couldn't be worse, most prominent community members try hard to avoid reprap.org at all costs. For suggestions I was thinking more like `$wgVectorUseIconWby dantman - Administration, Announcements, Policy
Who is responsible for maintaining the wiki? It looks like the wiki is running on an obsolete version of MediaWiki. I wouldn't mind helping a little and giving some suggestions for settings that might be better changed.by dantman - Administration, Announcements, Policy
Has anyone designed a printed frame mount for the Wilson TS that would hold a RAMBo? I'm considering assembling my first 3d printer sometime in the future. Originally I considered getting a Prusa i3 kit, because I was worried that trying to source all the parts individually and not using a pre-tested kit model I might end up getting myself the wrong parts and spend a lot of time trying to figby dantman - Extruded Aluminum Frames
