Hey Cefiar Im using a Resco Hotend, so its an all metal hot end. and its the green ceramic one I'm using. Maybe i should try it out, what could blow up ? the fuse and the resistor ? not the arduino board ?by TRoager - RAMPS Electronics
Hey folks. I'm wondering if i can use a 3,3 Ohm 3 Watt wire wound resistor as a heater for my extruder ? or is it too low on Ohm ? Thanks in advanceby TRoager - RAMPS Electronics
well the cold end doesnt match a j head, the j head are 16mm and the resco cold end are 13mm :/ so it wont fit the extruder in my opinion , but im not an expertby TRoager - General Mendel Topics
What about the fixing plate, would it fit ?by TRoager - General Mendel Topics
Hello Guys. i was wondering if someone could help me... im building this hotend: but i just got into some trouble. i cant find an extruder that fits this hot end. So maybe any of you knew an extruder that fits or maybe can help me build one for my Prusa i3 Boxed Frame. Thanks in Advance - TRoagerby TRoager - General Mendel Topics
Well i always liked the Delta machines, but i think it would be easier to start of with the Prusa i3 because of the information and its somewhat easier to understand as a first time printer. and if i had a 3d printer i could always just print some parts for the delta or another printer later. but i just thought i could get the box frame printed parts and make the box, and afterwards get the deltby TRoager - Prusa i3 and variants
Ahh alrighty then, i have to consider my option then.. Ill stick to the direct feed thenby TRoager - Prusa i3 and variants
Hello guys I'm new here. I'm starting to build my first Reprap Prusa i3 Printer. I just bought the printed parts for the wood frame, because i couldn't afford the aluminum single plated, so heres a question. a friend of mine just offered to cut the aluminum for me, but i got the parts for the wood frame. are there an alternative where i can use the printed parts for the wood frame on an aluminumby TRoager - Prusa i3 and variants
