I "stole" a .pronsolerc from the non reprap (newest version) of pronterface and copied it to /Users//.pronsolerc I'm on a mac also. The "deleting the .pronsolerc" RRP suggests does not do it on a Mac apparently.by Astute - Ormerod
Thanks Ray! Used repetier. Where do you correct the USB speed problem in repetier? Also my repetier seems to "hang" with "X commands awaiting" sometimes - and if i then let it be for 5 min it suddenly runs the commands... On the topic of pronterface; if I use the latest pronterface I get the UI correct - and if i use the uncompiled Reprap version it does not show ie. the WX is installed...by Astute - Ormerod
I have the "non compiled" version of Pronterface running on my Mac. My problem is that the XYZ/homing "circle" thing is missing completely from the interface. All other buttons and so on are there...by Astute - Ormerod
I had similar prints (as your first picture) when printing via Pronterface (US. I guess printing via USB requires a small "stop" and hence your corners. If you upload you gcode to the SD card (via the SD button in Pronterface) - and then print via SD (again the SD button in Pronterface) - you will have a better quality....by Astute - Ormerod
An idea could be to have an Raspberry Pi running this...by Astute - Ormerod
Did everything. When it prints via Pronterface - der is no slide at all. When I SD print - I get the same result - the exact same place on the hook.by Astute - Ormerod
Finally getting some prints out of the printer. All fairly ok there. Figured out that printing from the SD card is by far the best. BUT: When I printed the hook - the y axis slides a bit - making the hook like the picture. The "slide" occurs when the holes are started and ended. This is only on the Y axis. If I print it via pronterface it does not have this issue (but not with a decent qualitby Astute - Ormerod
For anyone having this; it happens when the end stop switch is missing a connection. Also a third LED comes on the DUE board when the switch is connected. Mine was accidently disconnectedby Astute - Ormerod
Hi Markus, Did that.... also checked the wires.. all done an correct...by Astute - Ormerod
Trying to get my ormerod running - I now have a problem with the Y axis homing in the opposite direction?? and hence hitting the endstop opposite to the switch.by Astute - Ormerod
Even if it is my own fault (broke the fan and the nozzle seems problematic); getting spares are essential. If you don't see it as an area for earnings.... it is important for me purchasing again. And a very good saying "It's not what breaks but how fast you fix it - that determines the size of the problem". So if I break a nozzle (that essentially is a very small part of the whole system) - butby Astute - Ormerod
I sadly broke the fan and would like a new nozzle. Anyone that knows where I can purchase them? And RepRap - it might be a good idea to publish a partslist?by Astute - Ormerod
