Thanks to all the helpers out there.. Update: Got the config.g running properly now, the last item being the Thermistor settings. Followed your advice DC, and all went well. Started test print but the fillament did not perform as I remembered... After much testing I found the thermistor values to not be R1000, but R4700 instead... and for some reason this time it worked when I changed it in theby madmob - Ormerod
For the M305, I used the following as directed: M305 P0 T10000 R4700 ; set thermistor for BED This however gave me an error response in the gcode console QuoteTemperature fault on heater 1, T = -14.7 Note the -14.7, as the actual reading was 14.7 at that time. I removed both the M305 commands and then it runs fine, all temps do update in the web interface. Any ideas? Also something else I foby madmob - Ormerod
Thanks for all the feedback. Currently busy updating my config. g with the supplied sample. Some questions if you don't mind. Found lots of differences with my existing config file, which was expected, but after lots of googling, I had not been able to find any reference to the below mentioned items. Some explanation would be appreciated if possible. Please explain the difference with the Uby madmob - Ormerod

Hi Guys After some trying everything I could think of, I found something.... Seems I have to run HomeAll from web interface before the manual actions would work.... odd So, this leads me to my next issue... homing Z part of HomeAll just keep on dipping into the table.... Had to abort this action as the Z Nut had released from the trap. I have no upgrades installed as yet, unable to print theby madmob - Ormerod

Hi DC Yes, agree seems short, but followed the Ormerod example from RepRap at Moved the T1 statement, will test. Also will try to find the commands I am missing. Thanks Madmobby madmob - Ormerod

Hi Guys Used to have a similar issue on my side.. Had the filament spool setup behind the printer, feeding from the bottom over the X-axis motor then down into the extruder.. Silly thing, on one of my refills, I changed it to feed from the top of the spool, over the X-axis motor down into the extruder. But havent had any issues after this thou. HI DC Nice job.... I can't wait. Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Dave Any chance of you having more of the Mk1 X-plates made? Also any idea what shipping to South Africa would come to? I started building Ormerod's locally, (key word is started) but got stuck with the laser cutting....this to get the price down for the local youngsters. I had tried to have these cut this side, but seems the guys down here get the dimensions from the DXF files all wrong.by madmob - Ormerod
Hi DC Thanks for the feedback, from this side I will be backing you as from what I gather, your goals with this is on Target. The GBP50 price tag feels reasonable on this side, considering the functionality you are including in this. For the SA guys, we should combine our efforts to soften the shipping impact... But I am sure we will get something worked out. Once again, thanks for the effortby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Guys Just a little motivation from down south.... We SA boys would appreciate the cheaper option, specially looking at the Rand / Pound rate at the moment. PS: Good on you for doing this... :-) Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Guys Space for one more backer.. maybe... please? Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Ian Currently using OpenScad... The laser cutters are using Corel Draw thou... seems this is where things move sideways. Will look at Inkscape as suggested. Thanks Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Kim Thanks for the above... Now I just need to get the laser cutting done.... what a pain Thanks Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Guys As stated before, I am trying to get replacment parts manufactured here in SA to save cost.. Question, and I think it be a stupid one but this is my first dance with the laser cutters.... The DXF files, how do they scale, size wise. I sent the some of the DXF files to a Laser Cutting service, but got the reply that my files are not scaled properly. Some come out as meters long... Any iby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Ian Much appreciated. Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
Hi Ian Thanks alot for the link, now only need those two alu blocks... Manufacturing here in SA will work out cheaper than getting from the UK... Thanks Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
HI All Any idea where to find the actual drawings for the hotend parts, as the ones (Nozzel) in the software package is not the correct file. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Madmobby madmob - Ormerod
