Re: I crushed my Duet Board!
- 10 years agoHello, i got my DUET 0.85 Board yesterday. I want to use the wiring diagramm of the think3dprint3d site. Most of the connections of the wiring diagramm are clear for me! 1. 5V Connections Do i have to supply the board with 5V ? I guess when i dont connect the board to 5V, the USB Cable have to be connected to the board !? 2. Hotend Wiring At the Omerod 1 Wiring diagramm the Hotend needed 4 Wiby stom - Ormerod

I think there have been some changes of the board since i bought my printer. Also when i look at the wiring instructions of the omerod 2 i see significant changes of the wiring diagram. What must/should I consider when i buy a new Duet Board ? Is the wiriby stom - Ormerod

Hello, i had also the problem that my sensor gives me a value about 500 when i am putting a white paper under the sensor. Unfortunately i didnt find the forum post which helped me. i used the wrong pin for the newer firmware version. NOTE: From firmware 0.78 (3rd July 2014), the pin the proximity sensor uses has changed. On EXPANSION header, it has moved from the 9th pin from the right, bottomby stom - Ormerod

- 12 years agoHi again ! I have again some Problems with my omerod Printer. At the moment i try to the „Orthogonal Axis Compensation“. First of all i do not know exactly if measured the distance „between the tip of the projection near the angled corner and the center of the end of the screw“ correct (picture 1). because i measured a distance of 75 mm and not 78 mm. - 12 years agoHi RepRap Community, unfortunately I found no post which had an solution for my Problem. Since a few weeks I am able to print. But only (exactly) 3.6 mm of my objects. After 3.6 mm the printer stops without any recognizable reasons. Had someone also this problem ? or has someone an idea how I can identify the problem of my printer ? Hi and thanks for your help finaly i could continue to work on my RepRap so i separated the two soldered joints. Lo and behold it works. After that, i “homed” my axies, this worked also. But after that, my “heated bed” Senor didnt worked any more. I also could not start the heated bed and heater on the hot end. All three things have already worked. So I removed the firmware, that i have compby stom - Ormerod

Hi, thank you for the quick response and sry for my late answer, bacause of my work i am not often at home at the moment! I have read your suggestions. So i wanted do measure the Voltage on the four pins of my Sensor. During this, i have noticed that the contact of my blue and the black wire are connected trough the joint. That should not be? Thanks Stomby stom - Ormerod
Hello RepRap Community, I'm almost done with the construction of my RepRap printer. At the moment i got stuck at captiel "Commissioning" in the manuel. more precisely at the commissioning of the proximity sensor. The Problem is when i send the command G31, i get a Value between 200 and 400 back. When i put a piece of paper under the sensor, the Value doesn`t change. They Value is always locatedby stom - Ormerod
