Hi, Here is my design. I was not fully happy with the panel board on the side of lcd screen so i used short 40pin extension cable to put it behind lcd screen. My design include mounting bracket to stick it (double side adhesive tape) at the top of my power supply module but it can be easily modified to mount somewhere else or even use it as a stand. All stl files and example photos attached. Fby fafinos - Ormerod
Quoteormerod168 I find the random infill placement to be pain and the default infill extrusion width skinny so I would untick that check box and raise the EW to 150% but thats just what works for me To be honest I never tried to experiment with these settings. I have only changed Interior Fill.. to 60%. I gonna try your settings and print something to see the difference. Thanks Erik. FaFiNoSby fafinos - Ormerod
Hi, I use Simplify3D as well. It's really nice piece of software but it has no ready to use profiles for Ormerod. I spent a lot of time playing with all the settings. Now only my issue is small warping when printing big parts in ABS, i.e. 150mm x 150mm and higher than ~20mm. I have attached my profile files for printing in PLA and ABS. Maybe it help you gazoox . Please note these profiles are fby fafinos - Ormerod
Hi auser and Darathy, I am happy you like it. Thanks. Here are all the parts. Each one as separate stl file and all together in 'E3D HotEnd - All.stl'. I included also slightly modified x-carriage (bigger hole for runner bearing and deeper holes for nozzle mount'. FaFiNoSby fafinos - Ormerod
Hi, I have replaced my standard hot end with genuine E3D V6. My standard one (mounting plastic parts) almost gone after first try printing in ABS (high temperature). Since I have E3D I am extremaly happy. No issues at all. When nozzle temp is around 240deg, top part of extruder is still cold. I designed all mounting parts. If anyone is interested I can post it.
