Hi all if this helps i use my 2015 macbook pro retina with OSX 10.11.1 and arduino V1.5.8 and i can flash my ormerod 2 just fine with this setup.

Hi all i think i have solved the issue. I had been using the micro sd card adapter and then placing that in my macbook sd card slot to format and put files on it. I have now used a usb adapter and gone through windows to format and install the files to the card and all seems to be working well again. :-)

Hi Dave. I am having issues connecting to my ormerod 2 since upgrading the firmware and it seems to be getting worse. I also have been having problems uploading files too. I seem to get a lot of ajax errors. Any clues as to why this might be? I am on OSX El Capitan and use Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. I have given up trying to connect with Chrome and Safari altogether and only use Firefox but t

Hi Dave. I have just upgraded to this firmware and i cannot use the Extruder control on the web interface. I can select feed amount and feed rates but i cannot get anything to happen when i click on retract or extrude? Many Thanks. Mick.

Hi Dave. Thanks for the response. I had been using 0.80c but the main issue was down to the hot end not getting to temp which is now fixed thanks to you pointing out the timeout setting. Just not sure why this started showing up after moving to your delta builds. Will re flash 0.80c after my current build has finished and try again. Many Thanks. Mick.

Hi. I had tried your delta firmware and had some issues so i have now reverted back to 78y. However i now have an issue where every time my head moves to the wait for temperatures position the head heater comes on and starts working to reach 235 But when it gets to around 231 the head then turns off every time? i have attached the config and the g code i am trying to print. Hi Dave. I got my arm today thanks. I had trouble getting it together and destroyed a screw head and a nut as the holes did not line up quite right especially the ones for the Z runner bearings. Also what is the silver tape for? Many Thanks. Mick.

Hi Erik. I Removed my aluminium plate this morning and have to say i really like the red board showing through the glass. On top of that i was able to level the bed a lot easier and more accurately :-) Many Thanks for the tip. Mick.

When i put T1 in the Slicer start code it places it after the M104 command will that be a problem ? or can i force it to put the command before M104 somewhere? Thanks. Mick.

Hi DC42 Strange when i use the pause then reset if i then choose another file to print it sits the nozzle about 20mm above the bed and does some random movements without extruding any filament. It has done this with both firmware's installed. Cheers. Mick.

Hi all again. I have a question relating to resetting the Ormerod V2. I am Running DC42 Firmware and if i pause a print on this or the previous standard firmware then press reset, it does not reset the machine properly. i have to power off the machine and then power it back up again before i can reprint another item. Is this normal and or is there another way to reset the system without complet

Thanks DC42. I had retraction set to 4mm so now have changed it to 5mm and have set the seam position to random and will see how those changes alter my prints. Many thanks for all the help. Mick.

Many thanks for the help DC42. I have one other slight issue as well. can you see in the pictures i have attached i get a slight bulge in the walls every so often and in different areas. Is this easily fixed ? Many thanks Mick

Hi guys. I have a question about printing in ABS. I have done ok so far but on big parts i get the ends on the X axis plane lifting every time. This i believe is due to the fan venting out through the heatsink along this axis. I have the V2 Ormerod with the acrylic spacer. Is there a mod i can do to get this airflow removed as i dont believe you even need the fan running with ABS, Would i be righ
