Hello boelle, I don't think RepRapPro are maintaining these any longer. I have copies. email me at jeanmarc@emaker.io and I can send you the files.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
That looks great. Can you measure an improvement?by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello Fisher owners, We have just published a small update to our Fisher design, to improve the way in which filament is loaded into the machine. Full details are provided in our blog post. In true RepRap fashion, no extra hardware is necessary, simply print a few parts to update your machine. Source files are available from our extruder drive github repository, as detailed in the post. Hello Steve, The homed height in config.heatbed.g was set a little high. It has now been reduced to 161mm and updated on github. See the M665 command to adjust. Sorry for the trouble caused.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
You may find it better to print onto Kapton then. When it cools, parts tend to come off more easily. If you don't want the airflow across the top of your part from the nozzle ducts, you can easily remove them. There'll still be a downdraft over the part, but it won't be so aggressive. That's what I do when printing with ABS, as otherwise it tends to delaminate during printing.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Awesome! I have misplaced my spool of Polycarbonate, so I couldn't test that material, but I'm pleased to see it working for you. What temperatures are you running?by jmgiacalone - Fisher
@Greg_be Thanks for your order! I'm just waiting for the packing boxes to arrive, so I'll try and get a batch of heatbed kits out today. @jmg123 You may need a power supply which can provide more current than the one you linked to. Cartridge heater resistance is 6 Ohms and the bed is 3 Ohms. So at 24v, the hot end will draw 4A and the bed 8A. Your power supply therefore needs to be able to supplby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello jmg123, I've been planning to test the Fisher with 24v, and in fact received a suitable power supply in the post today, so I'll let you know how it goes. We do have bed springs. I'll get them listed on the site over the next couple of days.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello bgkdavis, I did think about putting a connector above the base plate so the bed could be easily and completely removed from the machine, but decided against it for now as disconnecting it with the machine on will trigger a heater fault. The wires are long enough to pop the bed out and away form the machine enough to clean, see a couple of photos here. It would be simple enough to cut theby jmgiacalone - Fisher
We have put together a heatbed kit for people to upgrade their Fishers, to allow printing in a broader range of materials, such as ABS, HIPS and PETG. You'll need a 120W PSU, which beta owners will already have, but otherwise the bed is a straight replacement for the standard (un-heated) one. Files are on github for those who are interested More details on the blog Let me know if you have anby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello, Sorry for the omission. Logo was uploaded to github a few days ago, please see here https://github.com/emaker/Fisher/blob/master/stl/reprap-logo-Front%20panel.STL Let me know if you need anything else.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
You can adjust the height of the head without changing the Z position during a print. Send M206 Z0.1 or whatever value you like to adjust the head height. Negative values will move the head down.by jmgiacalone - Ormerod
Hello Geoff, It's nice to see you're getting on well with your Fisher builds. I agree the filament feed isn't ideal. When the angles are right, it works quite well as you pointed out. I'll see if I can come up with a more robust solution. What is your issue with the effector wiring? Could you explain the mess, perhaps with some photos?by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello, I have now setup a new site where I will continue to offer Fisher Delta kits, as well as a range of spare parts for these and other RepRap machines (follow link in my signature below). Please feel free to take a look around and let me know if you need any parts not listed. I have various ex-RepRapPro parts in stock, and can 3D print and laser cut to order. Thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - For Sale

Hello Geoffro, I am still producing Fisher kits. email/PM me your address and I can send you a quote including shipping. Thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - For Sale
Awesome, thanks!by jmgiacalone - Competitions
Hello dave239, I have all the parts you listed except for the heatbed PCB. Actually I do have some but their resistance is only 0.9 Ohm so they would draw too much current. If you send me an email to jeanmarc@emaker.limited I can send you back a price for the lot. Thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - For Sale
Hello jmg123, It's great to see community developed modifications to a RepRap. The original Fisher hot end was designed to keep the nozzle tip close to the plane of the effector ball joints, the thinking being that the further away the nozzle is, the more error will be introduced to the position of the nozzle from tilting of the head as it moves. eMAKER will continue to supply Fisher spares asby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello ronnietucker, We have a few original style rods in stock, see here, as well as other items you may find useful.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello again, I have listed a few more parts on eMAKERshop. If there is anything you need but still can't see available, please do let me know. Regards, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - For Sale
Hello, I think we have a few of those in stock. I'll confirm tomorrow and let you know what we have. Thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - For Sale
Hello StupendousMan, dc42 is correct, I have a few of most components in stock, certainly enough to make up a Fisher. I am gradually listing parts on my page on eMAKERshop, but if there are specific items you need which aren't yet listed, please let me know.by jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello, Following the decision to close down RepRapPro, I have various spares available, suitable for RepRapPro and other RepRap machines. Check out my listings on eMAKERshop. If you need something not listed, please feel free to contact me as if I do not have the parts within my stocks, I will know where to source them from for you. I can of course also provide any relevant 3D printed and laseby jmgiacalone - For Sale
We have just published a new SD card image for Fisher, see here. This includes only minor changes: - Set standby temperature to -273 in config.g to prevent heating of the nozzle due to incorrect wiring connection. - Improved unload filament macro. This now drops the temperature to 100C before retracting the filament. The result is a clean and empty nozzle. Thanks again for all of your great feby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello, We have uploaded a new SD image for Fisher, please see here. Changes are minor: - Fixed typo in bed4.g - Copied macrosd/bed4.g to sys/bed.g so Z zero should be set slightly higher than before following a G32 probing cycle - PID parameters tweaked for faster heat up. Thanks again for all of your great feedback, and if you get any problems with the build or use of the Fisher, please do gby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Hello everyone, It is great to see so many of you successfully completing the build of your Fisher kits and getting useful prints out. The feedback we have so far received has been tremendously helpful, and the instructions have already improved a great deal based on this. The process is of course not yet complete, and look out for many more updates over the coming days. As we continue to testby jmgiacalone - Fisher
Thank you for your advice, but I was hoping to print the exact same model so I could compare the print quality with the examples in this thread.by jmgiacalone - Competitions
Hello Bob, Thanks for the link, but that one is different. The competition model has double the number of spirals.by jmgiacalone - Competitions
Hello All, I know this is an old thread, but I'd like to try and print this model on my new Fisher Delta machine. Unfortunately, the Thingiverse link gives a 404. Does anyone have the STL they would be willing to share with me please? Many thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - Competitions
