Hi Folks, I am hoping someone can suggest a way to get around my problem! Firstly, I am a newbie trying to do my first print. But, I do have quite a bit of experience with CNC equipment and I own a CNC mill. I have done everything as directed in the commissioning instructions. Axes home correctly, and the heaters work. Did bed compensation, and saved this in the setbed.g file. Manually set Zby robbycar - Ormerod
Dave, Thanks for the ideas. I have tried it powered both ways, and multiple USB cables. I just removed the board to take a look, and there appears to be a broken track on the earth side underneath the board. Looks like the board is fried. I will try to patch the track tomorrow and if that doesn't work, I will order a new board. Thanks again for the advice. Rob.by robbycar - Ormerod
Ian I have exactly the same issue. Would love some help, but alas I am in Australia. Robby robbycar - Ormerod
I tried erasing and resetting the board. But the problem is that my PC (I have tried 3 different one) does not recognise the Arduino. It keeps saying the device has malfunctioned. So now I cannot reflash the firmware! I am really at my wits end on this, so any ideas would really be appreciated. Could the board by faulty? Rob.by robbycar - Ormerod
Hi folks. I just completed my build last night, and managed to connect everything, and even jog the steppers. Went back today and the PC will not recognise the Arduino and load drivers. Keeps saying USB device has malfunctioned. Can anyone give me any ideas, as I have spend hours trying everything I could think of to get it going. Rob.by robbycar - Ormerod
I have finished assembly of my kit, but I cant get the power supply to work. Even the fan does not spin. Does this mean it is dead? If so, how can I get a replacement? I am in Australiaby robbycar - Ormerod
Are these still available? I just finished assembling my Ormerod today and have yet to do my first print, but this sounds like a great idea. I am in Sydney Australia. Rob.by robbycar - Ormerod
