Quotethe_digital_dentist I know it's called a "calibration cube", but 20mm is too small to calibrate anything... Ok i will print a larger file and check againby Yoko - CoreXY Machines
Hi All, I own a corexy printer with marlin software when i print a 20x20 test cube I have the following measures x=19.84 y=20.10 i tried to change steps per unit in marlin but it has no effect any suggestion what to check?by Yoko - CoreXY Machines
QuotePDBeal I didn’t use a fan, but I did design a cooling blower for part cooling for my Smartrapcore Ali printers. Cooling Blower for Smartrapcore Alu I am not good at modeling but i already have a 4cm fan so i designed this model i will try it if it didn't work i will buy a blower and use your modelby Yoko - Smart_Rap

is there any cooling fan design for the smartcore alu as i can't find any and I am not good in designby Yoko - Smart_Rap
I have removed the bed completely and the issue was the same While measuring the voltages with the heated bed disconnected i found that the led some times lit up for just a second I over tightned the screws for the connection and it worked! I still don't know what is the root cause but it is working nowby Yoko - RAMPS Electronics
QuoteDust check the d8 io pin (not the mosfet output) with respect to a real ground (eg power supply gnd, but not -ve on mosfets) make sure its on when trying to heat the bed if D8 is on, and the mosfet is off, the mosfet has died. Changed the MOSFET still the same all related resistors are ok What should be the next stepby Yoko - RAMPS Electronics

D8 is on 5v But output to bed is 1.5v without load and when connected to bed it drops to 0.5 so i think it is a MOSFETby Yoko - RAMPS Electronics
QuoteDust Check you have power connected to the 12v 11amp circuit, this is the power for the heated bed. Yes there is 12v out of the fuse and the 12v reach The MOSFETby Yoko - RAMPS Electronics
I have a ramps 1.4 board it was working normally i left it for 2 months and started it back hotend heat up normally, but heated bed is not heating up (board heated bed led not lighting up) there is no output from the board. What should i check first?by Yoko - RAMPS Electronics
QuotePDBeal I've done a direct drive modification for the E3D Titan Extruder with a V6 Hotend (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1744154) and I've also done a direct drive modification for the Flexion E3D Retrofit Kit for V6 Hotend(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1934066). Neither have imposed any limitation on speed or build area as far as I can tell. I did switch to a pancake stepper on theby Yoko - Smart_Rap
Has any one succesfully added direct drive instead of bowden setup in his printer and what are the limitations ?by Yoko - Smart_Rap
Hi all, I have just got a friends printer to renovate it (completely destroyed) which is huxley with all rods are 8mm but i can't find any stl for it Can any body help me to find it's stl filesby Yoko - Huxley
ok i made a hotend holder for e3d hotend kindly review it and send me your feedback (i am a total noob in 3d modeling)by Yoko - Smart_Rap
I need the stl file for the hotend holder pleaseby Yoko - Smart_Rap
This pic is just now will printing my z support top part I forgot to mention i am printing usually on 50mm/sec speed and comparing my prints with a friend how is ussing a Chinese prusa my printer quality is much better than his while he prints on speeds less than 20mm/secby Yoko - Smart_Rap
Quoteatheimer Yoko, I'm just about to start a new ALU build from the kit. How are things working nowadays? Were there any parts you replaced that improved things greatly? Right off the bat I plan to switch the hotend to a real E3D Light and the extruder to a Greg's Geared that I have lying around. Did you have much trouble getting the Bowden system running smoothly? Love to hear an update afby Yoko - Smart_Rap
Quotejustcurious QuoteYoko i think this is the problem in slic3r M109 S{print_temperature} there is no variable in Slic3r called "print_temperature". You may use these in your custom G-code: M104 S ; set extruder temp M109 S ; wait for extruder temp I have edited it and it work perfectly now thanksby Yoko - Slic3r

Quotedmould Then compare the first 20 or so command lines (not comment lines) in the print file from Cura to those from Slic3r. You should spot either a different command parameter or a missing command in the Slic3r file, which you should be able to fix in the start code. If not, post the first 20 or so command lines from each file here. Dave Cura M109 S190 G28 X0 Y0 ;home X and Y and z G1 Xby Yoko - Slic3r
Quotedmould It sounds like your start code in Slic3r is unsuitable for your printer. Try using the same start code that you have in Cura. Dave O am using the same start gcodeby Yoko - Slic3r
I have a repcore printer (corexy printer type) When i try to print from gcode generated by cura it works fine When i try to print gcode created by slic3r the printer halts and temp doesn't even raise upby Yoko - Slic3r
my smart core having issues that it work only if the gcode is by Cura when i try use slic3r it doesn't work it just haltsby Yoko - Smart_Rap

Quoteo_lampe Are you sure, the filament passes the heatsink and goes right into the nozzle/heating chamber? I had a few e3d clones, were the filament was misguided in the heatsink. I had to unscrew the push fit from the heatsink and fumble with the filament until it found the entrance of the M6 heatbarrier. -Olaf yes and if i push it with my hand the filament gets extruded from the hot end easiby Yoko - Mechanics
Hi all, I am new to 3d printing and this is my first printer when i try to extrude the cold end (i am using a bodwen) The filament get stuck as in the picby Yoko - Mechanics

My first impression that the part are very weak and fragile The hot end carriage was broken and i found that the infill is very small as u can see in the picby Yoko - Smart_Rap
