I managed to get it working using the Z offset wizard instead :-)by Bertsjuhn - Firmware - Marlin
The probe triggers before hitting the nozzle hits the bed. But also with a positive value it does not lower, it seems to be at the same height as with the negative value.by Bertsjuhn - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks for the awnser. After posting my question I was already thinking it might be a double negative causing this behaviour. So, if I just change it to a positive, it should be OK. Will give this a try tonight.by Bertsjuhn - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I've just updated the printer to the last firmware, after re-applying my settings and calibrating my inductive probe my Z height is off. I've re calibrated the Z height but without any luck. In the firmware I set the NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET to { 52, 0, -1.60 }, but a M114 says: X:48.00 Y:100.00 Z:1.60 E:0.00 Count X:3850 Y:8020 Z:6080 For some strange reason it does not like the negative nuby Bertsjuhn - Firmware - Marlin
Quotethe_digital_dentist What are the first and second layer thicknesses? Does the hot-end temperature remain steady? Looking at the values, I think that this might be a good start. The first layer is set to 0.35mm (nozzle size) this I believe should be around 0.28mm instead. The other layers are 0.25mm The nozzle temp is 195 at the first layer and drops to 190 on all the other layers. Did havby Bertsjuhn - Printing
Hi, i have been messing around a bit trying to fix this. Does someone know why my second layer looks like ....? I have been playing a bit with the Z height. Is there a way to calculate the correct Z height? I have a nozzle of 0.35mm Regards, Bertby Bertsjuhn - Printing
QuoteWurstnase Use this guide for calibration: You need to extrude more filament. Increase the multi. Will take a look at the guide, but when I increase the multi the perimetric width calibration will fail again..by Bertsjuhn - Slic3r
Hi all, Recently I have started a print-to-fit configuration challenge for myself. My goal is to print items that will fit perfectly. I am using a Prusa i3 with a 0.35 nozzle. While doing so I have been following a few guides on the web: and After these guides my configuration looked like this: Filament size: 2.9 Extrusion Multiplier: 0.7 After changing those settings I noticed that the toby Bertsjuhn - Slic3r

Die pagina ken ik inderdaad. Het vreemde is wel dat er staat: QuoteSlic3r manual Extrusion Width is the thickness of a single filament extruded either in free air or above a surface. It's not the distance of two adjacent paths since some overlap will be generally applied in order to get better bonding.

Ok, i will get some 1200Grid sandpaper and see if that will solve my problem. I will also clean my kapton with Windex.by Bertsjuhn - Printing

I do not think that it is an adhesion problem, since most prints stick so well that I need to crack them lose when done and cold.by Bertsjuhn - Printing

Hi, I have a question regarding bed adhesion. When printing the first layer everything looks fine, but after a few lines of filament have been layed down, it starts to come up a bit. When the filament comes up from the bed it sticks to the nozzle and gets dragged a bit. While printing the bed is 85 and the nozzle is 180 degrees. It is hard to explain, the picture might explain this a little biby Bertsjuhn - Printing
