Hallo Jonnie, wat zijn de gewichten en lengtes van de verschillende filamenten, want dat is nergens terug te vinden. Groetjes, Aad Koene.by aadkoene - Commerciele aanbiedingen
Allesby aadkoene - Electronica
Hi Rob, i'll answer in English so other people can follow this item. The page you showed is one of the pages in Slic3r where you set the speed. If you're not far from Gouda i could show you how. Aad.by aadkoene - Reprappers
@ ggherbaz: i knew about the bootloader (told that in my posting) but that's way out of my line of knowledge. I know a few about electronics (Philips E-Lab about 1970), something about programming Apple IIe, MSX-Basic, some about CAD and a lot about technics and improvising. Besides that ....... i'm learning a lot ev'ry day. @Chris33: i think that when i use the height as adjustment for the Z-aby aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Rob, try to use Slic3r for al the adjustments from .stl to g-code before you put it in Repetier Host. Aad, Also Dutch.by aadkoene - Reprappers
Oke, you two have made a point, so i won't change the pitch to 8mm. BUT the biggest problem that remain is that the Melzi board isn't programmable, so i can't change the settings of my board. Not unless i change the setting in the slicer ....... or build a special board to reprogram the Melzi, but that's way out of my line of knowledge. So probably the best option is to change the board toby aadkoene - Reprappers
How do you mean: an external SD-slot? I have a printer with a Melzi Ardentissimo with an SD card-slot and a USB-slot on it like: Aad.by aadkoene - Reprappers
As tight as a gitarstring is to tight, some parts will be damaged or break at last. If you can move the belt 1cm up and down with the least amount of power it's tight enough. I think the problem is to little space for the belt in the wheels, so it will move on the sideways. Aad.by aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Jake, the part that is broken is that the Front Panel or the Spanner for the Belt on the Front Panel?? If it's the Panel make a bleuprint (drawing) of it and take it to a company that can Watercut Acrillic or Lasercut Multipex. Aad Koene.by aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Guys (and Girls aswell), Yeah, yeah, i know ....... the difference is M3. But now on the serious side: what's the difference??? The reason of my question is that i have to make a 10% correction on the Z-axle (this is a minus 10 on both X- and Y-axle) with every print i prepair in Slic3r or Cura to get the right print. Not a deadman's problem but it should be normal to print without any corby aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Guys (and Girls), is there an official way to pauze Cura 15.04.4 ?? Aad.by aadkoene - Reprappers
If you're build a printer of that size you don't want to use the lay-out of the Prusa i3. Instead of that you better use a model where the Z-motors are driving along the Y-axle (the same way a portal-crane moves). In that case you don't need a heavy printerbed and you save some square meters. Just my thoughts, Aad.by aadkoene - Reprappers
EUREKA !!!! The printer WORKS !!!! Vuokko didn't give the solution, but pointed the way to the solution. Asking the system who was using an USB port didn't give any answers. BUT ...... It brought me to the level of looking who is allowed by the Firewall (he decides who may communicate or not). In the list i found a few that puzzles me why the where allowed to have access. Hi Guys, I think that to Giantkiller. Actions so far today (the clock says: Yesterday .....): -compare FTDI drivers: i have 2.12.14.0, my son has 2.10.0.0 -changed to 2.10.0.0 --> no results -changed back --> no results -read a shitload of pages and forums and found a lot of stuff about the rollback to 2.8.30.0 -changed to 2.8.30.0 --> no results So ... history untill now: - Alianwareby aadkoene - Reprappers

Hi Giantkiller, thank for the answer. My own laptop(Siemens LifebookC) has USB2.0 ports and My son's laptop(Alienware i5) has USB3.1. The Prusa i3 works on his and not on mine, but i have an extended USB3.0 for my laptop. So i will look that one up and connect it and see what it will do for me. I will inform you about that. Regards, Aad Koene. Ohh: BTW XP didn't work aswell .....by aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Giantkiller, the Prusa i3 works on the laptop of my son (Allienware i5) but still not on my laptop (Siemens Lifebook C). I can't get my finger on the problem: - Pronterface gives an error: Connecting... Could not connect to COM4 at baudrate 115200: Serial error: could not open port COM4: Toegang geweigerd. - Cura said: "opening serial port" and ending up doing nothing Looking for cluesby aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Frans, I've inverted the wires of one motor, for testing, and it worked as you told. And the result was better then you told because the "Stop-and-Park" worked suddenly too for that axle. I replaced the broken switch and all the motors are switched now. The printer works !!!!! Thanks for that. Aad Koene.by aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Frans, thanks for the quick answer. There are no connectors on the board, just connectorpoints (see photo). The firmware is pre-installed Marlin, Sanquino compatible. With "Stop and park" i mean that when the x, y and z-parts reach the stopswith the motor will stop and thakes a few steps back untill the stop-swich is released. Aad. (Gouda)by aadkoene - Reprappers
Hi Ev'ryone, I've recently ordered a Heacent Prusa i3 kit and build it. The Prusa i3 has a Bowden Extruder and the board is a Melzi Ardentissimo ( a 1.0/2.0 Ebay version). Besides a wrong switch, no stop- but an on/off-switch the build is complete. The problems I'm heading to are: - the stopswitchs only stops and don't stop and park - the Z-axle motors are moving the wrong way - the Extrudermoby aadkoene - Reprappers
