I use Slic3r, which supports the 'After Layer Custom Gcode' I put this in: G91; G1 Z1 F2000; G28 X0; G1 Z-1 F2000; G90; So this code is inserted at every layer after the previous is finished I have no idea if other slicers support this. suc6by Replace - Printing
Is the fact that the printobject is being hit the reason for missing steps and messing the flow at the wrong positions, or is that the result ? Did you check, being a Delta, that your horizontal curve parameters are well calibrated ? This will likely hit the object when false, but only when movement is in the not calibrated path. And also important.. does the arm gently moves over the verticalby Replace - Printing
My printer has been rebuilt to RAMPS some time ago, after a burn-out of my Gen6. My question is whether I can go to Diamond head on Ramps ? Or do I need to rebuild it again to other hardware ? Wich one ? I think Ramps only support 2 extruders, not 3? Or can that be 'fixed'? Can I start using the diamond with only 2 extruders in mean time ? Or does the filament drop out the 3rd not connected fby Replace - RAMPS Electronics
currently , I am designing a little piece, through which the filament is routed. When routed , the lever of a microswitch (with a bearing roller) will be pressed. When the filament runs out, It will be depressed. Based on the microswitch, I can either close or open when the state changes. So the 5v from the endstop is easy sent to the S pin. I have only implemented the home switches for x, y anby Replace - RAMPS Electronics
Thank you, I wil look into these parameters and see if I can make it work. Can I take a constant 5V somewhere from the board and rout it to the filament-out switch back to the jam detect input pin ? Or do I really need to make the 5v myself ?by Replace - RAMPS Electronics
Can I configure a pin on the RAMPS, to accept 12V when my filament runs out, in a way that Repetier Host will pause the print ? Has that been done ? What pin can be used and what should be the Repetier firmware code ? Thomasby Replace - RAMPS Electronics

My advice is to use 3dLac this is a spray-on solution that sticks wehen hot and releases when cold. It works ok on Glass and even better on aluminium. Warping with PLA seems impossible. Quoteanvoice Would printing them separately and gluing or solvent-welding the parts together not work for you? I can't think of anything short of raising temperatures to the max (both bed and nozzle) that would improve adhesion between incompatible materials. Maybe, I have not tried to glue the FLEX. hi all, I am developping hybrid objects which need to be printed in both Flex and non-Flex. This is one example: I do this by changing the filament during pause. However: the bond between the two is lousy. It will separate on the surface of the bond very easy. Is there a solution to prevent this ? Thomasby Replace - Printing
