I wouldn't recommend solid wire. My i3 Prusia clone have hotbed came with thick red 12 guage silicone coated copper stranded wires. Reason why I don't recommend solid wire because it can break over the time after repeated motion of Hotbed (solid wire is stiff and if you bend several time, it breaks off). thicker strand 12 guage is far more than enough and is flexible, So it won't cause fire at

You should get 12 guage silicone coated wires, in that way it won't melt wire coatings. My Tronxy 802D hotbed came with two red thick coated12 guage wires and its coating material made of silicone. You might want to check out

Most prints that I printed for Carriages (Hotend, Z Axis and parts) for my p

To clarify "stray filament"... It's printed with layers on stray. I have all windows with one stray each. It may be a minor issue that can be broken off and file just little bit.

I bought Tronxy 802D (X6D) i3 Prusia Clone last year January and didn't use it until last November that I finally figured out how to print solid because I sliced with .4 layer height instead of .2 . Got it corrected and sucessfully printed nice prints. I upgraded part of printers then decided to go for Bowden. Ordered $15 hotend with bowden and printed carriage parts for it. Modified and test ra
