Hi, I just upgraded to Marlin 2.1 from 2.0 and it was all hell set loose. I had to literally go back and start from scratch with Configuration files as there were many things that never matched from the earlier version. This has happened during an earlier upgrade too! Wish we had a better way of upgrading the firmware without loosing any of the earlier data and neither have to start with everby saintofinternet - Firmware - Marlin

use a LM7805 to convert the 12V input you give to the sensor to 5V output and plug that output in Z Axis Endstop pins. check the attached image....by saintofinternet - Firmware - Marlin

I have built a Hypercube Evolution CoreXY printer and was running it using the 2560+RAMPS 1.4 for last 2 years. Since I installed the TMC2209 and a SKR 1.4 turbo life has been a nightmare with the Z axis. I am using a Capacitive Proximity Probe which was being earlier used on the RAMPS 1.4 and worked flawlessly. Now since the SKR 1.4 Turbo board and the TMC2209 I have enabled sensorless hominby saintofinternet - Firmware - Marlin

I am using Autonics CR18-8DN DC10~30 8mm M18 Capacitive Proximity Sensor NPN-NO (Shielded) for the Z Axis Endstop while X and Y are Sensorless using the TMC2209 on the BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo Board. I am not able to setup the said Capacitive Proximity Sensor. I have used a LM7805 to convert the 12 V Input from the sensor to 5V Output which is plugged in the SKR 1.4 Turbo board in the Z-Endstop porby saintofinternet - Firmware - Marlin

sorry to restart this old topic... as in my case i am using a probe which triggers perfectly when homed on the Z Axis but the bed moves 5 MM in opposite direction after perfect homing. i need the auto bed leveling feature too!by saintofinternet - Printing

hello, i am using the Repetier Host with Slicer.... and when it shows a job completeion timing to be 2 hours 30 mins the job actually gets over around 3 hours 40 mins... totally confused.... why would this be happening??by saintofinternet - Developers

hey... first thanks a lot for the help. now coming for the firmware... the one given by the vendor was way to bad hence i downloaded marlin and re-configured it as per steps given on the youtube videos by Thomas Sanladerer. the following are my settings: the XYJerk was 20 and i changed it to 40 as the print was bulging at the point where it changed the layer. had read it online. don't knowby saintofinternet - Printing

i have a knock off Prusa I3 purcashed from www.cncparts.in i am sure i have been duped and ripped off by this company and they are completely arrogant and ignorant about my issue leaving me to fend for myself. i am trying hard to calibrate my machine.... but it's now getting frustrating.... posting the images of the 10x10mm cube. the height is coming around 9.75 mm and the width is around 10.1by saintofinternet - Printing

i printed my first sample today on a prusa i3 and looks like one side ( left side ) wall had some gaps in layers.... photos submitted from 2 different angles. does it mean my bed is not leveled?? even though i have done the bed levelling just as told by the prusa / reprap documentation...by saintofinternet - General

actually the firmware the supplier has provided has fully functional LCD menu.... but i tried with another arduino just to learn everything.... using the downloadable Marlin firmware... but that is giving problem....by saintofinternet - General

hi, today i flashed the marlin latest release for the first time on my first build of prusa i3 printer. when i press the dial... it shows nothing... just stays on the main screen. also the X , Y , and Z axis on the LCD display are alternatively flashing a "?" so found out... it was the X Axis endstop which was faulty... and when plugged it shorted the Arduino... replaced the endstop and now it's started working. long way to go... do we have any ready deployable Prusa i3 firmware ready to be downloaded and flashed?? thanks to all you guys for the excellent support....by saintofinternet - General

Yes it is powering both the motors and the bed.... Each wire is 1.50sqmm ( between 15-16 AWG ) which I think is enough for the required current to pass through. Now what puzzels me is if the loop that is on the connector not the right way why aste people supplying prusa i3 clone sending such wires which happen to work.... Ofcourse i am ready to make changes if suggestedby saintofinternet - General
