Make sure to turn off retraction and play with the speed. My best results are on 15mm/sec but ultimately it depends on the extruder you have.by whosrdaddy - Printing

Totally agree MKSA, a flat bed and a good microswitch is all you need. The value is the fact that bed can be used as a probe, in my case I need this for my toolchanger as not all tools aren't perfectly aligned in Zby whosrdaddy - General

Underbed sensing is really only suitable for stationary beds (think Delta's). You can always put a piezo between the carriage and hotend assembly. Works flawlessly on my P3 steel :by whosrdaddy - General

The easiest way is to create a macro and test it till it works to your liking, depending on your printer type you will need a macro per axis, for instance on my corexy, on macro is enough as homing x will home y and vice versa. Then you can call the macro from your homing files with M98. If you need to change something, you'll only need to edit the macro and no need to touch the homing files.by whosrdaddy - Duet

Your Duex5 cabling is wrong, you must use a short cable on directly going from the Duet V- to the Duex5 V-. as stated in the documentation : Important! You must have a reliable low-resistance connection between the negative (ground) terminals of the two VIN terminal blocks.
