Thank you, I am glad you like those! If you end up building it or a derivative I would be glad to know how it turned out Regarding direct drive, just because of the typical weight/space reasons, plus I don't really print flexibles which I see as the only good reason to use a direct drive. Even so, if I ever am to convert keevo to a direct drive, I would first try out using a flex3drive though foby nuverian - CoreXY Machines
QuoteOhmarinus Wow, looking good. I might, in time, rebuild my CoreXY design when I have the funds and the time. It looks like you got it down. Do you have more examples of the prints it makes? Thanks! Here are some recent prints I did for 1/72 wargaming scenery (thus quite small). These are printed rather fast, with 0.5 perimeter width (and nozzle) and 0.3 layer height. Quotetruck64 Hi nuverian, it seams a very nice machine. My prototipe is simlar to yours and you solved some issues I have in a good way. I've just a question: until yesterday there was some picture of the XY motors mount aligned on Y axis like your older Tribotron. In the current project you aded an idler and motors are been shifted. Is there a technical reason for that. Hey, Thanks. I am glad yby nuverian - CoreXY Machines
QuoteShank man It's a beaut, great job! Thanks! Quotethe_digital_dentist Nice! Thanks! Also for your comments in the previous version post which have helped me reconsider a few things into this oneby nuverian - CoreXY Machines
Hello again, I finally was able to update the project and bring it to a state which I now consider finished (although no printer is really ever "finished" :- ) ) I am very happy with the end result and has proven to be a reliable machine. Some KEEVO printed parts: I hope you like it. If you see any apparent improvements that can be made to the design, please let me know! The project cby nuverian - CoreXY Machines
Hey! Haha, yeah it won't stop I have already moved the guides to the sides to further constraint the bed rotation wise. It did help ever so slightly, yes. The z axis generally works great so far in both arrangements. The motor mounts are printed with a heavy infill. I can flex them a little by strong hand force, but they dont with the belt tension. There might still be some unnoticeable and unby nuverian - CoreXY Machines

Hello everyone, I would like to show you my second design and possibly get some constructive feedback of course! :-) I have posted it on thingiverse -> . This was my first design which was an HBOT by the way -> . Let me know what you think :-) (PS1: KEEVO = Cube in Greek) (PS2: I am a maker, not a pro)by nuverian - CoreXY Machines
Hey, Thank you. I am glad you like it ! I also think that HBOT still has it's placeby nuverian - General New Machines Topics
I might as well do that then Yes, it is an HBot indeed. Can easily be turned into a (crossing-belt) CoreXY though, which I have actually tried but didn't see any real benefit -at least in this machine- even though I do understand the theoretical advantages. While when forcefully moved by hand there is a bit of a gantry twist, when actually printing there is none or negligible. In other words, iby nuverian - General New Machines Topics
Thank you. Yeah, I should have posted in the CoreXY subforum, but now, I wouldn't want to make double post and I don't see any way of moving the post :-/by nuverian - General New Machines Topics
Hey, Yeah very similar indeed. I initially thought of doing a triangle like yours but opted for this design so that it leaves space in within the frame for PSU and board. Something I ended up not doing in the end, so LOL The only other real difference I can think is that you can change the ratio by only changing the motor driven leadscrew pulley, instead of all 3 leadscrew to something like a 6by nuverian - General New Machines Topics
Hello everyone, I am new here and just wanted to share with you my first custom made 3D printer codename Tribotron! Here is a video of it in action: It is available on thingiverse as well, alongside with source parts, materials list and (simple) build instructions if you are interested: If you have any questions or criticism, I would love to hear. Cheers!by nuverian - General New Machines Topics
