Already checked the duet board, is look to be a very nice all in one board solution and the 0.6 version is a great value for is price. But i not sure if is an valid option for me because I have already lots of hardware that i want the reuse. - not work with my glcd. Already have 2 lcd, i do not want to buy one more... - Already have an raspberry with camera, usb wifi and octoprint. Octoprint witby filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

Recompiled repetier firmware without GLCD and with SD card support, made several prints and everthing is very fluid and no micro stop. I have an lcd 4x20, i have recompiled the repetier with this lcd and same result, print without any issue. This 2 test prove that the GLCD do not work well with an corexy printer and an 16 bit board. I think i will upgrade my ramps to an 32 bit board that supporby filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

I using octoprint only to start the print from the sd card inserted in the lcd. The problem i reported is printing directly from the lcd and not octoprint. Printing using octoprint by usb is simply to slow.by filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

hi, I having some problems printing some more complex objects. The problem is the print is not fluid and was some micro stops, was result the print was tiny blob and the walls are not uniform. I have read this problem is common with deltas printer that use 8 bit board with lcd, because the lack of power of the ramps. In my corexy the x, y linear motion system is made with LM8UU and m8 hardened steel rods. The result is a noisy movement with some vibrations, but the print quality is still very good. I have now ordered igus plastic bushings to replace the LM8UU.by filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

Hi David, I have an prusa i3 stell version and like you i have decided to build an corexy. There are several good models you can use to build your core xy. For me i have decided to build my own model, but with the corexy mechanism of an already existing one to be sure it will work well. Already making somes changes: I have ordered 4 igus bushing to replace the LM8UU in hopes to solve the vibration problems of the carriage. Put some soft rubber feet was suggest by RepRot and it make a big noise reduction.by filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

I have this setup, e3d v6 little bowden. The tube goes to the extruder to the tip of the hotend. So far never have an jam, but i have print problems like some blob and retration filament.by filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

Hi, You have lots questions and very good ones 1) In case of jam is very easy to unmount the hotend, is only 2 screws, the ptfe tube goes from the extruder directly to the end of the hotend. So far i do not have any jam, but i still have to make more prints... I already investigate the vibration problem and the cause is the bearings, they have a little gap. The printer is finished, I have upload the complete 3d project, bom file and firmware (marlin and repetier) where: My overall opinion of the printer: The good: Very good printer for is cost. The precision is top notch, the print quality can be easy compare to the print result of an ultimaker with no problem. The print can print up to 100mm/s without losing quality. The bed is very stable, used 2020 aluminium to make the arms and 12mm shafts with 4 bearings with aluminium case. I only have one pla pieces to connect the z screw to the bed struture. Using more that one lead screw i think will solve your problem. Bruse, very nice printer. Already made saveral prints and the quality is very good. I building this printer to be fast and this is the reason i need to try first an bowden extruder. In think your are correct and this extruder will give me only problems, but i need to try... the printer support bowden and direct, i have already an greg extruder printed and ready to be mounted...by filipeCampos - CoreXY Machines

Hi, Created this post to present the corexy printer i actually building. The printer is called G&C Printer, stand for Good and Cheap Printer. My main goal is to build a fast and good quality printer under 500€. Is actual total cost is 490€. Hello, I have a strange problem that start happening only 2 days ago, when i print using a sd card the print stop randomly. If i print using usb and prontoface all goes well, no problem. the print stop printing because the ramps make a reset, I can see in the lcd the rebooting process. The hotend and bed goes to zero ºC, and the nozzle stay in the last instruction of the print. In the paste i alby filipeCampos - RAMPS Electronics
