extruder motor not turning - 14 years ago
My extruder motor doens't turn. It just sits there and clicks, but doesn't not turn the gear. I checked with the power off the and motor turn fine. I turned the trim pot down and no clicking, then turned it back up but it just clicks. Any ideas what is wrong?by rtdesign - Reprappers

First, i am very new to the reprap build process. But i have everything working except for the extruder is not heating. I am using repsnapper for the software, it appears to be confirured correctly, it is sending a line to turn on the heater, but nothing happens. I am using a arduino mega board and i have the extruder heater plugged into the D10 slot. When checking the screws on the D10 when it iby rtdesign - General
Reprap, first print, how do i home it before sending the gcode - 14 years ago
I have completed my reprap build and am using repsnapper for running it (electronics are ramps). I just tried sending a 20mm test block to print, but it just seems to bump into the x end stop over and over and then ends, y and z don't move. I double checked all connections and everything seems to be correct. I have tried home all, but that only moved x again. I am at a loss what i am doing wroby rtdesign - General

Can anyone provide some step by step instructions on how to load a good solid firmware for an arduino mega 2560. Including what customizations are needed to what files, where to get the original files, how to test it, how to load it. basically, i don't know even where to start and what to do from there.by rtdesign - RAMPS Electronics
