The two Z axis motors are wired in parallel, to the best of my knowledge, to one of the motor outputs on the board. They are both driven by a single output, so that they stay in sync (in theory). I'm still building my own Huxley myself, and hope to build a second with one motor driving a belt to drive two axis rods, like the GenX or TechZone designs.by tadrow - Huxley

I'm in the middle of buying parts and putting together a RepRap Huxley, and wanted some input before ordering a motor for the extruder. I'm planning on using a good high-torque Nema 17 stepper, but wondered whether there would be any advantage to using a 400-step motor (0.9 degree per step) versus the typical 200-step (1.8 degree) stepper.
