I have a wades accessible extruder with a J-Head Mk IV-B Hot End for 3mm filament and a .35 mm nozzle. I am not sure what the issue is. It keeps stripping the filament when I try and extrude it. I tried loosening the 2 screws with springs to have less pressure. It is fine for about 20 mm then it just starts stripping. Could my nozzle be clogged? If so how do you folks suggest I get this taken cby LordTovar - Reprappers

I downloaded the latest Repetier host and uploaded the Repetier firmware to my Ramps 1.4 board. I am trying to slice an stl and when I do it gives me an error message (See photo) What could be causing this?by LordTovar - Reprappers
youtube.com/#/watch?v=DpZM0nodakE I'm having issues with my prints. I set the mm per second on the EEPROM settings in Repetier-host for my MBP. I was tring to print out a coin and this is what it does. I fixed the Z endstop so it's two pieces of paper distance between nozzle and bed. Any ideas as to why this is doing this? I'm printing ABS at 220c and bed is at 110c .35 mm nozzle and 3mmby LordTovar - Reprappers
I jog all the motors in each direction. X and Y seem to be working. I go up on the Z and it just turns so so slow and I tell it to go up 100mm and it goes up about twenty. I used the Josef Prusa MM per step online tool and set the lead screw 2267.718321038048 steps per mm value and changed it in the firmware. I am running Repetier on my 2011 MBP. What I'm curious about is why is the motor so slowby LordTovar - Reprappers
- 13 years agoAlso I just remembered that the z threaded rods are standard and everything else is metric. How do I fix this to reflect in the firmware and do I even need to?by LordTovar - Reprappers
- 13 years agoI sent that M119 code and got < 9:54:51 AM: x_min:H y_min:H z_min:H any ideas as to what that means? Can you explain how to check the z steps per mm value and the easiest way to set this?by LordTovar - Reprappers
- 13 years agoWhat are my voltage readings supposed to be powering the board and is it supposed to be VAC or VDC? On a Fieldpiece HS36 Multimeter. Thanks! Its on the Z axis motors. They aren't getting much power when I jog it on Repetier on my Macbook Pro. X and Y axis work when jogged and move correctly. I hit 100mm on the Z to go up and it slowly turns and maybe goes 15mm up. Then when I hit -10,-100 it dby LordTovar - Reprappers
Im trying to upload the repetier.pde into arduino and have already changed the baud rate and board type. I compile the sketch in Arduino 1.0.1 and it looks good. I try and upload and it gives me this (Binary sketch size: 61,866 bytes (of a 258,048 byte maximum) avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avby LordTovar - Reprappers
And would you be kind enough to elaborate a little on getting the Repetier firmware onto the the board itself. I think thats what the issue is. Thanks!by LordTovar - Reprappers
Repetier-Host Mac 0.53 is what I downloaded. Can someone help me. I plugged in the printer and the printer starts moving the x axis back and forth and the y back and forth and z up and down. I hit connect in repetier and and the printer stops moving for a moment, then it keeps doing the above. I also can hit the emergency stop in repetier and stops but then continues. Can someone please help.by LordTovar - Reprappers

So I have a basic mechanical endstop and I am wondering if it is absolutely necessary to have the 1k Ohm resistor on the "C" part of the endstop? I just dont have them at the moment. It is getting plugged into a RAMPS 1.4 board. Much appreciated.by LordTovar - Reprappers
So I am looking for help. I have an ATX 2 PSU. The photos I have included have all the specs of the PSU. I have RAMPS 1.4. Please tell me if the two sets of (1Black, 1Yellow) are the correct cables for the 4 ports on the RAMPS board. I just really dont want to blow anything up and lose money. Hello, I am building a Mendel Prusa Iteration 2. I have 5 NEMA 17 motors. They are 6 wire. I am hooking them up to Ramps 1.4 which have a 4 cable design. My question is which wires do I solder and which two do I leave off? I broke them up to three groups of two as you can see in one of the two photos. I feel like the 2 middle ones I should as I tried touching each pair together and I felt the rby LordTovar - Reprappers
