Hey guys, I have a Prusa i3 that I have just recently finished putting together. It's taken me since February, as I got the i3A from DIY Tech Shop and ended up spot-upgrading parts as things failed while being built. It's been a frustrating and time consuming process, but this past weekend I got everything assembled, wired, moving, extruding, lighting, melting, sticking, rotating, and everythingby mrpaulie - General Mendel Topics
I notice that you have a Ramps board and I just overcame an issue that sounds exactly like yours. On your board, where the stepper drivers plug in there are pins underneath. There need to be jumpered in pairs. Mine came bare with separate jumpers and it took me 2 weeks to figure out. You may way to check there.by mrpaulie - General Mendel Topics
It's been like 3 weeks since my I3A arrived and I have not been able to get it to move and finally I read this thread and I have to Jumper the pins under the stepper drivers? I ordered the I3alpha and boy are you guys posting the steps making me anxious. I can't wait for it to arrive. My impression is that DIY Tech Shop is a smaller company (my order number was in the 800s) that has been getting a lot more orders than they are used to, which is probably what is causing the rushed prints, unanswered tech calls, etc. That being said, aside from the printed parts, whicby mrpaulie - General Mendel Topics
