no you'd have to turn the potentiometer on the stepper driver with a nonconducting screwdriver, clockwise to give the motor a little bit more juiceby greggo - General
dang, i want one thats 12 inches. seems like its hard to find unless its real thick :-/by greggo - Reprappers
My fan broke down and ruined my ABS effector, so thats gonna happen no matter the material (except metal of course)by greggo - Reprappers
you're gonna get nowhere if you don't learn how to googleby greggo - Laser Cutter Working Group
i did, and I'm using marlin. I hooked it up to D9 and use the M106 Sxx command and it works easy, didnt need to do anything with the firmwareby greggo - Laser Cutter Working Group
what kind of laser engraver. go to jtechphotonics website for a good guideby greggo - Delta Machines
in inkscape i used the function Extensions >Modify Paths > Flatten Beziers this got rid of all my curves so this works for nowby greggo - Delta Machines
ok so i think i narrowed it down, it seems to mess up at G3 and G2 commands, which i thought were supported by marlin. Any idea how to enable these commands? or do I have to switch to a different program so that arc commands arent sentby greggo - Delta Machines
Sorry if its against the rules to crosspost but I don't know how many people visit the laser cutting subforum. Is there a missing G-code command I need to use when exporting a gcode file using J-techs Inkscape Plugin? My Delta moves in strange directions (ie down towards the bed) even with simple gcode directions Heres the beginning of one of my test cuts (too long to post it all but the sequeby greggo - Delta Machines

i see no problem with it being for the effector, it really doesn't get hot at all. and a chunk of PETG the size of an effector isn't flexible at allby greggo - Reprappers
Does anybody have a spare plastic effector? mine melted and warped because the fan stopped :-/by greggo - Delta Machines
the fan is connected directly to the PSU accessory post (and i checked to see if the ground wire or something had wiggled lose but no everything is still connected well) . I tested the fan with a makita 12v battery and it ran back up to full speedby greggo - Reprappers
I had to disassembled my whole effector this morning because it had warped to all hell . Filament jammed all the way up to the fitting for the bowden tube. The problem stems from the cooling fan running VERY slowly (orienting the fan face down sped it up and face up slowed it down). I also noticed that the charger that powers my tablet couldn't keep up to demand and was discharging slowly. So nby greggo - Reprappers
Hobby Lobby has a whole lot of big glass jars... just use the online coupon for a discountby greggo - General
in my folgertech... 350mv was way too high and warped the corner pieces because they got too hot... i would keep it lower and then make them stronger if they start slippingby greggo - Reprappers
Quotecman8 Quotethevisad Quotecman8 Did any of your change your heatbed? and if so which one? Nah, the bed that comes with this unit is actually a really good unit. It heats fast, is stable and pretty darned flat. I have seen people use the hex purple bed or even a square bed on the delta. Do you think hving my bed scratched up from when I was trying to learn how to tune it will affect any of mby greggo - Delta Machines
neither, i find using a dial indicator and manually leveling the bed just better.by greggo - General
i use this one, consistent with heat and moisture (live in FL) and it runs on 5v so no weird stepdown voltage divider sassby greggo - General
I just upgraded my Marlin firmware to thevisad's version but now I noticed that the steppers dont automatically turn off now... the arduino code is set to turn off at 60 seconds so I don't know where else to look. Any ideas?by greggo - Delta Machines
Quotecman8 I have a weird problem, When I slice, in the platter it looks fine. but when I load into printrun to print, its off the circular graph. It prints fine just dont know what Im doing wrong if anything. Any ideas? there should be an option to "offset" the bed area in the settingsby greggo - Delta Machines
I changed the grid points to 6 and it seems to have fixed the problem. why wouldn't 9 fit? Also, is it possible to have a round grid? the square grid it autolevels is relatively small compared to my bedby greggo - Delta Machines
I get an error "The X axis probing range is too small to fit all the points defined in AUTO_BED_LEVELING_GRID_POINTS." when I put in the firmware that my probe is 25 mm to the right of the hot end and cant find what value to change to fix thisby greggo - Delta Machines
mine doesn't let go anymore, is yours too loose? EDIT: nevermind I cant readby greggo - Delta Machines
which way does the heat break go? does the PTFE liner side face away or towards the nozzle?by greggo - Delta Machines
Quotegfrantz greggo, I have no idea if this is what's wrong or not, but AFTER you flash the firmware, manually send a M502 and then M500. That will force your newly updated firmware to load. I fought a similar problem on one of my machines for nearly a month before I found a hint that this might be my problem. It was! Use whichever control program you use (I use Pronterface and Repetier Hostby greggo - Delta Machines
Im having this problem.. i recently updated to 20 tooth pulleys and did a whole bunch of cable management but for some reason Marlin wont change my steps per unit. I tell the effector to move 10mm and it moves 6mm... ive used both 32 tooth and 20 tooth... still 6mm. I can change the range and z height max successfully... but marlin will not update my damn steps! line 359 right?! i change all 3 aby greggo - Delta Machines
