By the way, I just fixed mine by replacing the ATmega644P-20PU. It looks like something shorted in there or something.by Minimaker - Sanguino(lolu)
For everybody who runs into this problem, it looks like something got shorted in the ATmega644P-20PU. I replaced it with another copy I had around and the temperature reading is correct now.by Minimaker - Reprappers
Sorry to hear about the Sanuinolola but it's good to hear the ramps are doing ok. I'm going to do some tests this weekend and if nothing comes from that I'll probably switch to Ramps too.by Minimaker - Sanguino(lolu)
Hello, I'm having a similar problem right now on both the thermistors. Did you manage to resolve it?by Minimaker - Sanguino(lolu)
Ok, bedankt.
Hello, Sorry to revive the thread after such a while but I'm having a similar problem right now (see here). I was wondering, did you manage to resolve the issue? Or was it a broken board? Best regards, Ming-Huaby Minimaker - Reprappers
Hi, I've got a second hand Reprap with one Sanguinololu which was reported by the previous owner as having a defect and it's replacement which may be having a problem (discussed here). I'd like to repair the first one and need to check the second. So I was wondering, is there some kind of checklist you can go through to determine if a Sanguinololu board has a problem and if yes, where the probleby Minimaker - Sanguino(lolu)
Thanks for the reaction. I have replaced the wire shielding as a precaution and checked to make sure there is no contact with the heater block. As to the thermistors, both are showing about 135kOhm which I believe is right for the current temperature. I can do some more tests using a putty oven later to check if they are working fine. The odd thing is that I've only handled one of them and rightby Minimaker - Reprappers
Hi, I'm using a sanguinololu with Marlin on a Prusa I3. It's a second hand fix-em-upper and I'm still trying to get it to work (having issues with temperature reporting now). I don't know the reason for the temperature issue you are haviing but did have problems getting the motors running at the start. But it turned out that my second hand sanguinololu did not have the jumpers installed (undernby Minimaker - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, For some reason Pronterface and Repetier Host have stoped reporting correct temperatures from my reprap. Both the bed and extruder are reported as (aprrox) 50 degrees centigrade while it should be around 20. To me it looks like the programs are not getting any input from the board. They were working correct this morning. This afternoon I had to remove the nozzle as it's blocked and ever sinby Minimaker - Reprappers
Yipee! I've placed the jumpers and the movement is working correctly now. Aside from some finetuning. And it's good to hear your board is fine. Thanks for the tip. And thanks to Steve too!by Minimaker - Reprappers
Oh! Good call! I just checked and there are no jumpers on my Sanguinololu. The person I bought it from had replaced the Sanguinololu but it looks like he did not move the jumpers as they are still on the old board. I'll see if this helps tomorrow or in the weekend and will let you know. I hope your board itself is still ok.by Minimaker - Reprappers
Hello, I was wondering if you have resolved this issue. I'm having a similar problem on all my axes so I'd be interested to know. That is, manual movement when I click 0.1 and 1 (though the distance they move is bigger) and just vibrating when I move by 10 or 100. Best regards, Ming-Huaby Minimaker - Printing
Professionally I've used SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor and AutoCAD but for home I'm mainly using the free version of Creo (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express). Aside from that I sometimes switch to other programs for specific actions like FreeCAD for STEP conversions, Blender for detailed mesh inspection, Sculptris for organic work and Meshmixer for all kinds of things. I've just started loby Minimaker - 3D Design tools
I've just done some checking but haven't figured out yet what the problem is. I'll do some more digging on the forum to see of there is any mention of the this problem. I'll let you know if I find anything. Edit: - the problem seems to happen more often. The Vref for the motors (too high?) may be a problem but right now it's too late for me to test. Will see if I have time tomorrow.by Minimaker - Reprappers
I'm actually having exactly the same problem. I've just built my first Prusa i3 and mine is reacting exactly the same way. Both in pronterface and Repetier-Host. To compare notes: I also have an ATX for power and am using the sanguinololu rev 1.3 a using Ice Blue Stepsticks. Motors are Wantai 42byghw811. Firmware is Marlin.
