I have an x y gantry machine where the head moves up and down. The work surface (bed) is fixed. I can post some pictures if need be.by kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
I have Marlin firmware loaded on a Bigtree tech SKR V1.3 with TMC2208 stepper drivers. Im connecting though repetier host and am able to move the machine around. My endstops are -x, +y & +z. xy&z are all homing correctly, however when i initially go to home x or y, z makes a safety move in order to not drag a tool across the bed or work piece. It moves towards the bed...Also, when I run aby kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
Could someone describe the process of using a new Micro SD card for the SKR V1.3. I read a couple forums, reformatted card to FAT32, drag and dropped the firmware initially then was able to upload via Atom. I have connectivity and it works other than my end stops as mentioned in the previous comments. Does it need to be formatted and to what? How do I initially get the firmware to the board? Custom CNC from the ground up.by kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
So I had read that the SD was junk so from the get go I replaced it with a 1gb. I reformatted it to FAT32 and had to manually place the firmware to the card. After that i was able to upload through ATOM. Could I have messed up that process? Thanks for the help!by kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
Inverted Logic: Non-Inverted: Also I have tried with #define X_max commented out along with other unused axis endstops with the same results. The 2 h files above have them all uncommentedby kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
I appreciate the response but thats exactly what i did with no changes in results. Which led me here. As of right now i dont have UART or SPI enabled. Even if i unplug the sensors they are coming back as triggered. If i manually press the sensor, I get the feedback as open. Why wouldnt the logic invert in the firmware?by kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
Hello, I recently started a CNC project and fried my original board. Ended up purchasing Bigtree Tech SKR V1.3. I was able to configure and upload marlin 2.0 firmware to the board without issue. Initially I sent M119 to check endstops and all are coming back as TRIGGERED. I went back to the firmware and inverted the logic and reuploaded. They are still coming back as triggered. Not sure what I'mby kelen87 - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks for the response! The fan cooling the hot end down did come to mind. But when I look at the extruder gear while printing it goes at a slow "normal speed" during perimeters. But during the infill process you can see the gear has drastically sped up. I wouldn't think you'd be able to see full revolutions of the gear within a couple seconds, even if my hot end is indeed hot enough. Just seemby kelen87 - Reprappers
The reason I like KISSlicer over the others is that it gets into more of the "nitty gritty" settings. Definitely good to tweak some aspects of a print to get optimum quality whereas other slicers seem to be more of a plug n play and you get what you get.by kelen87 - Reprappers
Hello, I'm new to Reprap but do have some printing experience. I've recently assembled my Sunhokey Prusa I3 printer and got it up and running. Made several tweaks and got some decent prints to come out. I'm using KISSlicer because I do see the advantages it has over others. When I initiate a print, the perimeters lay down flawlessly, but when it gets to the infill and is moving at a higher rateby kelen87 - Reprappers
