Solved. One of the wires melted through the shielding and shorted to a SCR. This was causing the board to slowly start to over heat... Thanks for the idea Olaf!by Outie - Reprappers
I didn't see anything shorting out my board. Can I check anything on my board or is it easier to replace it?by Outie - Reprappers
I have two issues... Not sure if they are linked or not. #1: If I turn the bed on, the bed and the extruder both turn on until the temp is met by the bed. If I turn the extruder on, the extruder and bed turn on until the temp is met by the extruder. If i turn both on, they both go on until both temps are met... #2: Printing from the SD card or from Repetier Host (v1.60), the print stops after aby Outie - General

I have been working on this kit for too long. Here is a link to the crap I bought https://www.3dprintersonlinestore.com/delta-3d-printer-kit I finally got g28 to bring the extruder all the way up and tap the endstops. However, the XYZ indicator says it is at "-80 -80 0". How do I make this read "0 0 230" does it need to? Also, when i g29 it, it does the auto leveling andby Outie - Reprappers
I checked my Vref (most of them were close but I adjusted them anyway to 0.8A). After I ran the the test file, I only had one motor working. Further investigation revealed that my board was toast from the manufacture. Thanks for pointing the way Olaf!by Outie - Reprappers
background: I bought a kit, instructions were crap! (HE3D Delta) I have zero background in 3d printing. I assembled the kit and fixed some issues with that. all jumpers installed under the steppers, all motors and step controllers are verified good. What I have done: Installed Arduino and uploaded micromake (program that came with unit) Installed Repetier-Host. Issues: I go under manual contrby Outie - Reprappers
I bought a kit from China (Delta HE3D). Horrible instructions! I finished putting the kit together and this is what I know Repetier-host is able to connect to the printer. All motors are working (after I fixed the pins that were wrong from the manufacturer). The stepper boards are all verified good and installed correct (no jumpers installed under them for now) Repetier-host does connect to thby Outie - Reprappers
no I have been doing some reading and I don't have arduino installed yet. As I understand, this is the program that will "program" my control board and tell it what steps are?by Outie - General
I am super new to 3d printing. I bought a kit from china (delta 180 he3d, auto leveling, heated plate). I have the SD card with it that has 3 folders in it (arduino-1.0.2-windows, DLT-180 Delta 3d printer, firmware) I have done nothing with these files and downloaded the most up-to-date Repetier-host. I installed Repetier-host and input my printer settings (image 1). It does "connect" and turnby Outie - General

I am brand new to 3d printing and there is no one around me that can help so I bought this kit as a shot in the dark to play around. I come from an electrical engineering background. Kit: HE3D Delta The kit is a terrible! the instructions are missing many steps, out of order, blurry, different model was shown in the "how to" than what I bought, I have been putting this thing together mostly frby Outie - General
