I agree with you that it should be able to maintain level and that auto-leveling on every print is unnecessary. However I am not able to test that without getting auto bed leveling to work in the first place.by whymrprinter - Reprappers

Hi all, I have a folgertech prusa I3 that I am attempting to add auto-bed leveling to. However I am having the following issue:The homing and auto-leveling processes seem to complete successfully, but when the printer starts to print it crashes the extruder into the bed. I have paused the print and retracted the Z-axis until a sheet of paper fits between it and the bed and it always requires aby whymrprinter - Reprappers
