I'll try another cable. If it isn't the cable, I'm in trouble. This is a pre-assembled Sanguinololu that came with a RepRapPro Huxley kit, which seems to have been tested before shipment (there was a sticker). I hope I haven't somehow fried the board/chip/something. Also, my Huxley isn't fully connected yet. I was hoping to see if I could communicate with the chip before I get to snapping on alby dadederakh - Sanguino(lolu)
I'm having trouble connecting the Sanguinolo electronics of my Huxley in linux. The Wiki says this should "just work" but I am only getting errors from the kernel. The errors are the same whether the power is connected or not. In no particular order, several variations of these errors may appear when connecting the device: hub 5-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2 usb 5-2: device nby dadederakh - Sanguino(lolu)
Hello! Sorry to vanish on everyone; I had some big things to deal with the last few months (basically I just started my life over again). I still want to see this project materialize! I didn't expect the Arduino to be so well known here! It looks like MicroFan even has a Sanguino board worked out (Reduino-Ghost). I tried building an Arduino by breadboard (not the breadboard drop-in chip but the whole thing on a breadboard), but I don't have anything to test it withby dadederakh - Japan, Tokyo RepRap User Group
Isn't that Tsukuba Science City? That's a great place to live for doing a project like this. Where do you work? I'm in Fuchu-shi, about 20 minutes from Shinjuku. Yes, we need some kind of co-operative. We may be the only two working on this at the moment, but I've been telling friends about it and trying to get people interested. I was looking for a filament supplier, and came across several suppliers of raw plastic as well. This one caught my interest as they supply recycled material and they are in the same country as I: However, this article on the use of regrind and recycled plastics has me very confused and a little frightened: I have in mind to use 100% recycled plastic in my machine if possible, but I don'tby dadederakh - Plastic Extruder Working Group
If we came up with a paper feed mechanism and a gluing head (already done) the darwin could do this. the paper feed mechanism is of course complicated, but not impossible. idea: A new bed that slides down into an A4 box. Off to the side of the darwin, a paper feeder. The paper feeder slips in one sheet after gluing has finished on the first. The box will take care of the paper alignment. Theby dadederakh - General

Hey this is really progressing! Thank you for the wiki Sebastien! I've been absent from the forum for a while as I had a lot of work to do. Is there someone here who's good with grant proposals? Also, as far as software goes, hopefully development on the Live CD will provide a one-size-fits-all solution. I really don't see any other way as viable for viral distribution.
