yeah, did all that, and in PS still has terrible prints but in other slicers its just fine. So i know it must be how the slicer generates its tool paths vs how the other slicer does it. Prints used to be flawless with PS, but with newer printers and versions of PS to keep up with those printers, it may be time for me to get a new printer haha, or like you say, a new board. In prusa Slicer, prints have random under extrusion, gaps between walls and top solid surfaces ( i can pull walls off of cubes by sliding a feeler gauge in the gap) lots of z stepping. But in Ideamaker, none of that exists. So i know its a settings/slicer issue. I am thinking that maybe prusa slicer is geared towards more updated boards than mine so it causes issues. Hello all. I have been struggling with prints the last 6 months, thinking it was my printer, so i started replacing things like wheels, belts, hotend, nozzle after nozzle on my Tevo Tornado. I know that it is not a reprap, but i have 3 repraps i have built from ground up and they use the exact same control board as my tevo. But the issues never went away. I have a tevo tornado, and you can print strain relief. Also, dont ground it, use a gfci outlet... way saferby LT72884 - Safety & Best Practices

I know its been a FAT minute since this thead started, but since i am JUST learning about 3d printing, does anyone hae a current BOM list? i want to build the box frame just like this gentleman did. This is strictly for a project. I own a CR10, but want to build my own. I dont need the best of the best parts. Hello all. Brand new here and to the 3d printing world.. Yes, i have owned a davinci jr1.0 printer that required propritery filament and software, i LOVED that printer, but those days are over. I now have a cr10. I have learned ALOT about 3d printers with this thing, but its time to enhance it a little bit more. I am a mechanical/areospace engineering student and have limited money but i want toby LT72884 - Reprappers
