I, too, am trying to calibrate my delta to be more accurate. Links I've collected: Maui-3D.com -this link deals with the RC auto-calibration with Marlin but goes into transferring the results to Repetier. Minow's blog - this one has the formula to dimensional accuracy. There is also this > RepRapFirmware bed.g file generator . Might be of some help (wouldn't know how to use it).by BoriSpider - Delta Machines
Quotetatineto anyone in West Palm Beach I just find out about this 3D printers My oldest son wants us to build a robot but I did not were to start. Now if I able to find someone to provide the printed parts for one of this 3D printer he will love that since after that we have the capability to print part for a robot. Thanks Look up MJRice on ebay. His WilsonTS printer kit is a good one toby BoriSpider - Florida, Orlando RepRap User Group
Have you been to the "Delta Robot 3D Printers" Google Group yet? Here is a VERY long thread on this Marlin branch.by BoriSpider - Delta Machines
DOH!!! I forgot the link. UltiBots out of Vero Beach, FL.by BoriSpider - RepRap User Group - Florida, Tampabay
Ok Wraith, I lied. I found a 3d printer (Delta) distributor in Florida that carries filament. I have never used them. I found this in the 'Delta Robot 3d Printer' G+ group. Someone asked for a good filament at a good price and this was one of the suggestions. So if you use them let us know so we can follow suit.by BoriSpider - RepRap User Group - Florida, Tampabay
Good info. I, too, follow MJRice on ebay and haven't seen his printer listed in a while. Good to know one can contact him and buy one. I'm assuming this way one can have a kit tailor-made to include/exclude stuff you want/don't want.by BoriSpider - General
In FL? no. In USA? yes.by BoriSpider - RepRap User Group - Florida, Tampabay
EmailGuy look here at Jose Manual Ortiz's blog . Go down about half way and you will see a labeled close-up of a stepper driver board. It will have the locations labeled for you.by BoriSpider - RAMPS Electronics
Same with SW FL in 3dhubs.com I see quite a few in Naples/Cape Coral/Miami but no activity here in the forums.by BoriSpider - RepRap User Group - Florida, Tampabay
Oh, and p.s. what brand and where did you get the white PLA? Canadian, US, or other distributor? Always looking for good suppliers.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
Hi TheHackerArtist, some great prints you got there. Back when I found you on YouTube I sub'd you. My page didn't show anything new from you so I'll go now and watch. My printer is "in the shop" right now so when it's up and running and the cash is flowing I'll start sourcin' my TS. You hear of (I could be wrong about the name) Spectra line?? The Bukobots use something like it. Might be worth loby BoriSpider - Reprappers
TheHackerArtist I just caught your great video on YouTube. Nice setup there.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
I see that he has done that in the past already. Guess I missed it.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
YW THA. Hey Rayton, how are the parts from Marty, if you received them already? When I'm ready I was thinking on going that rout too. He has a nice hardware kit up now with extrusions, rods, fasteners, and bearings. Marty might as well put together a whole kit. Well maybe minus hotend, controller board, motors.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
I see Marty has uploaded a Wilson TS design update video. Some great additions. Wilson TS update 1by BoriSpider - Reprappers
Oh yeah, forgot about the fishing line. The only other thing I can think of checking is make sure the spool isn't slipping on the motor. That new bottom layer looks better.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
Glad to hear you're up and runnin' albeit w/so-so quality. Have you seen Tom Sanlanderer's page yet? (not sure if I mentioned this yet) Ist off I think you're not close enough to the bed when printing. The plastic doesn't look "squished" enough. The Y problem - do you need to adjust your Y stepper trimpot a little, or is the belt catching on something?by BoriSpider - Reprappers
Lookin' Good. Maybe a duel-frame for the Z like Lulzbot's Tazby BoriSpider - Reprappers
Glad to hear everything is working out so far.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
TheHackerArtist , the Helios hackerspace in Montreal might be able to print something for you. That's IF they are still there. And I believe I heard if you buy a J-Head off ebay you are buying a fake. I don't think they sell on ebay just from here. Oh and that ^^ hakerspace ^^ might have the nuts you want, too.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
No $$ to start any builds now. Summer is brutal here in S.W. FL. About the T-nut, I was going to suggest Adafruit.com but you're in Canada so there should be a better place to get them from.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
I just finished that series A2, good one. Looking good TheHackerArtist, can't wait to see it running. I guess that makes the idler the 1st thing you print then.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
Keep at it TheHackerArtist. I, too, plan to build a TS. Following this thread. What is your power supply plans? Have you seen RichRap's filament spool post.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
You can always build a chamber for it with carbon filters to filter out fumes/particles. It will also keep out drafts and keep the build area warm so your heated bed won't have to work as hard.by BoriSpider - General
As much as I like videos of the prints that the printers are printing, I personally like to see the whole printer. So maybe 2 stable cameras, 1 web cam for close-up printing view and 1 for a "whole printer" view. Maybe even a split-screen of both views.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
A good tut. for OpenScad. A free CAD program called DesignSpark Mechanical is good tut.'s here.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
The release of the free CAD program, DesignSpark Mechanical, makes MUCH MORE sense now.by BoriSpider - Ormerod
