I, too, am trying to calibrate my delta to be more accurate. Links I've collected: Maui-3D.com -this link deals with the RC auto-calibration with Marlin but goes into transferring the results to Repetier. Minow's blog - this one has the formula to dimensional accuracy. There is also this > RepRapFirmware bed.g file generator . Ok Wraith, I lied. I found a 3d printer (Delta) distributor in Florida that carries filament. I have never used them. I found this in the 'Delta Robot 3d Printer' G+ group. Someone asked for a good filament at a good price and this was one of the suggestions. So if you use them let us know so we can follow suit.by BoriSpider - RepRap User Group - Florida, Tampabay

Good info. I, too, follow MJRice on ebay and haven't seen his printer listed in a while. Good to know one can contact him and buy one. I'm assuming this way one can have a kit tailor-made to include/exclude stuff you want/don't want.by BoriSpider - General

Hi TheHackerArtist, some great prints you got there. Back when I found you on YouTube I sub'd you. My page didn't show anything new from you so I'll go now and watch. My printer is "in the shop" right now so when it's up and running and the cash is flowing I'll start sourcin' my TS. You hear of (I could be wrong about the name) Spectra line?? YW THA. Hey Rayton, how are the parts from Marty, if you received them already? When I'm ready I was thinking on going that rout too. He has a nice hardware kit up now with extrusions, rods, fasteners, and bearings. Marty might as well put together a whole kit. Oh yeah, forgot about the fishing line. The only other thing I can think of checking is make sure the spool isn't slipping on the motor. That new bottom layer looks better.by BoriSpider - Reprappers

Glad to hear you're up and runnin' albeit w/so-so quality. Have you seen Tom Sanlanderer's page yet? (not sure if I mentioned this yet) Ist off I think you're not close enough to the bed when printing. The plastic doesn't look "squished" enough. The Y problem - do you need to adjust your Y stepper trimpot a little, or is the belt catching on something?by BoriSpider - Reprappers

TheHackerArtist , the Helios hackerspace in Montreal might be able to print something for you. That's IF they are still there. And I believe I heard if you buy a J-Head off ebay you are buying a fake. I don't think they sell on ebay just from here. Oh and that ^^ hakerspace ^^ might have the nuts you want, too.by BoriSpider - Reprappers

You can always build a chamber for it with carbon filters to filter out fumes/particles. It will also keep out drafts and keep the build area warm so your heated bed won't have to work as hard.by BoriSpider - General

As much as I like videos of the prints that the printers are printing, I personally like to see the whole printer. So maybe 2 stable cameras, 1 web cam for close-up printing view and 1 for a "whole printer" view. Maybe even a split-screen of both views.by BoriSpider - Reprappers
