im having trouble with my endstops also. im using a prusa i3 with a rambo board and repetier host/firmware. ive calibrated all axis's and the extruder successfully. the endstops wont work, im getting more in the mail. but yesterday only 2 wouldnt work, today none will work. im thinking the problem might not be with the endstops though...

im building an i3, but the steps should be similar. im using a RAMBo Board also, but am having better luck with repetier host and repetier firmware. when i tried marlin some of my motors would move one way but not the other. repetier lacks documentation of the modified configuration files though. do the motors whine when you connect power? it sounds like a power issue, did you measure the current

ive recently cut out an i3 frame out of 1/4" aluminum on the cnc, similiar to twelvepro's style with the back braces but modified for m10 threaded rod on the y axis and 8mm smooth rod. i also upgraded some of the printed parts to 1/8" aluminum parts, the only printed parts are the x carriage, x motor bracket, x idler bearing bracket, the heated bed lm8uu holders, and the endstops. i am the US and

ive read about dibond, the glue used to hold the thin sheets of aluminum to the polyethylene is potentially toxic. it can cause allergic reactions,nausea, rashes and/or diarrhea. do you know the exact glue they use?

im 95% through my build of an aluminum prusa i3. i modified it for m10 threaded rod on the y axis, m8 smooth rod and lm8uus. ive designed the x carriage bracket for a budaschnozzle/ wades extruder. i am using a RAMBo Board, repetier host and repetier firmware. i just calibrated yesterday, pics coming soon!
