What I read, concerning, when you load the firmware, From the arduino menu, choose File then open and then look for firmware in downloads folder. Browse to the folder and look for file Marlin for prusa i3 with extension. ion, upload that.. What your saying is to load the firmware to the board is to use a file named Marlin pde. What I read was concerning loading the firmware for the first time, was look for a file Marlin for Prusa i3 with extension .ino. and load that because that is what I did. In other words when I load the firmware. Upload a file called Marlin.pde NOT Pruxa i3 with extension. ino.by tobig11 - Reprappers

Yes you are right, 1 in thousand, but I'm the one. Maybe I done something wrong when I installed everything. I opened the marlin file, there is no configuation h file there. A while back I clicked on the file, then the next time I look for it is was gone. What I also read that there was a problem with computer with the AMD 64 chip, but this was surppose to have been fixed.by tobig11 - Reprappers

Yes I know how to use the internet very well, I've been searching for over a week about this subject, but come up with nothing about changing the firmware. You don't have to get nasty. I just asked for a little help on something I don't know about.by tobig11 - Reprappers

I have the arduio mega 2560 R3 I was trying to use Cura to print with. I set up what had to be setup in Cura. 3dCzar send me a config to use with there software. What was I suppose to do with that. Do you think I should reinstall there software. The frimware he put on the boart is sprinter and what I read is its for a diffent board.by tobig11 - Reprappers

The firmware he put on my computer is; Sprinter. is says Reprap firmware based on sprinter. Optimized for Saguinololu 1.2 and above. My computer is an HP laptop, Windows 7 home premium. processor; AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.30 GHz. What do you suggest I do? If I was to change the firmware back in Arduino. My machine is a Prusa i3. Computer man found software that would work on my machine. Now I'm trying to set it up using, Pronterface. When the y axis hits the endstop, the motor binds up, or when it moves to the front and hits the frame, it binds up. The same things happens with the the x axis. I move the x say, positive then try to move it the other way, it will just start going back and forth boby tobig11 - Reprappers

I got the printer back from the Computer shop today. He said the software I used, I got from where I bought the printer, 3dCzar, would not work on my computer, there was more then one problem with it. He done some research and found software that would work. 3d czar said that might pay me for part of the cost, lets see what happens.by tobig11 - Reprappers

I like to put things together and learn about them as you go along, I like a challenge. Most of the time you can't work problems. I have builted remote control helicopter, if you want a challenge, try and fly on of them. But after spending over a week, more or less night and day, and, e mail, a person from where I bought it from, and on the internet, I had enough. it takes a lot for me to give oby tobig11 - Reprappers

I got feed up and took the printer to a computer store. The man said that the board, Mega 2560 R3, should have come preload with the frimware and if followed the directions, which I did, I wiped the board out. He said that he concerns the arduino software not that great. He is going to try and find better better software and frimware to use. He also said, the board might be no good. Went to Arduino opened marlin folder. All I got is a file telling you about marlin It has in it a line saying #include "Configuration.h". I click on it nothing happens. Edby tobig11 - Reprappers

I'm no programmer. How and where do you open and edit the marlin frimware? I have tried changing the brate rate in both programs and in the device manager. Did not helpby tobig11 - Reprappers

I purchased a prusa i3 kit from 3dCzar and put it together. installed Arduino, set it up, install marlin firmware. Installed Cura. printer will not connect. I get and error message ( Change monitoring state from 'Detecting baudrate to 'Close'. Changing monitoring state from 'Closed' to 'Error: No more baudrate to test, and no s...' Connection closed, cloing down monitor.) I tried difference baudrby tobig11 - Reprappers
