Quotemsaeger How far should the nozzle actually be from the bed? The standard is for you to be able to slide a piece of printing paper under the nozzle, with a slight amount of grab onto the paper from the nozzle. This will get you to about 100 microns(0.1mm) from the bed.

I have this problem to, but I just import my models into rep-host and then use the mirror feature. Though, I should probably fix that before I one day start a larger print, and then realized half way through that I forgot to mirror it

Thanks for the response. The motor wasn't moving the filament, and the hotend was hot. However, I deleted and them reloaded all of my printer config files and it's working again...at least for now ;-) Sweet, glad it's working

The best way to check voltages would be to put the red lead from the multimeter on the pot, and the ground lead onto the screw for the terminal that goes to the ground terminal on your power supply. I know this is not apart of the question you are asking, but have you considered one of those mini CNC machines. They go for about the same price as a typical reprap 3d printer, and can cut wood and probably metal.

Did you check to make sure that you have your max bed temp in marlin and rep host is higher than 98? If you did, then make sure that you have soldered your heated bed properly. There are a pair of contacts that need to be bridged in order to reach higher temps.
