As long as you don't exceed the voltage rating for the pin. Examples: RAMPS: 5vdc; DUE: 3.3vdc; Duet/DuetWifi: 3.3vdc.
When I used one, I used a 12vdc relay board that had a selectable high/low signal setting, so it would act just like a switch.

Sound like you didn't change the probe positions. If it hits an endstop during probing, the 0 for that axis shifts.

The blinking axis names with a ?, mean that they haven't been homed.

In this line:
#define DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE {200, 300, 5, 25} // (mm/sec)
Try lowering the max z feed rate to 3.
You can also change it via the LCD.

Auto-leveling assumes the bed is flat, sounds like your's isn't.

Once you get the printer calibrated, so that if you tell it to move 10mm, it moves 10mm. To get the inside circles correct, you do test prints to determine the size needed to get the size you want. For example, I have to make 3mm holes 3.5mm in my prints and sometimes they still end up a bit too small.

Your comport number may have changed, check in the device manager to see what it is.

The holes will be smaller since slicers haven't put in any compensation for the filament shrinking. I always make them larger to compensate for the shrinkage. If the holes are closer together, then your x & y axes may not be calibrated correctly.

Rubbing alcohol is not a good cleaner, it usually has a light oil in it. Use acetone or a good glass cleaner.

I will use this to rid my bed/ my property of the old/new uprising pest (aka bedbugs).
One method pest control companies use: Get several sheets of foam board, build a box, put one or more space heaters inside with the item(s) and run them. Keep it above 45C for at least 90 minutes, use a remote style thermometer to monitor. For clothes use a dryer that can run the heat for 90 mi

Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)
Reduce the max acceleration on the z. For the xy, it sounds like the drivers aren't configured the same or one motor isn't wired correctly.

Your Z0 needs adjusting, it looks like the nozzle it too far away from the bed for the first layer.

Slic3r 1.29 over extrudes on gap filling. 1.30-dev has fixed that problem.

No. If you have an LCD you can get some of the settings. Also, Marlin sends configuration info after you connect with pronterface and repetier host.

In Marlin RC7, it's in configuration.h, after the section where you set the z probe offsets.

On the sensor triggering on the bed edge, raise z some before homing. That move can be put in the slicer's end code. For when you cancel a print, create a cancel.g in sys and put in a gcode to raise the z up high enough to keep it from triggering on the bed edge.

What sensor are you using? Usually the edge of the bed is 0, check the printer minimum x setting. It may have an offset.
You may need to increase the stepper current. The config.g supplied with the duet usually has all of them set to 800 ma.

When I did a Google search on 'gerber to gcode' there was a lot of hits. The first page had a couple of free ones.

Can't you use one of the many gerber to gcode converters?

Make sure the cables going to the lcd are short as possible (under 12") and not routed next to anything like stepper motor wiring.

Mine does the same thing, Duet 085 & DuetWifi. Hit print and the Paneldue doesn't start updating until the bed is done heating. Using M190 for the bed. DWC is updating during the bed heating. 1.15c on the Duets and Paneldue is 1.15beta3.

On the Performance version the 4.2 is for the PTFE tube, it only goes in as far as the top of the threaded heat-break.

The current output of a power supply doesn't affect what device it's connected to. The power supply can put out 1000A and the RAMPS will still only use up to 5-20A on the dc bus, depending on what it's controlling. What really matters is the voltage output.

Was thinking about a thermal fuse on the bed heater maybe the maplin 157 deg C type. I would crimp it on in series with one of the AC leads to the bed heater, protect the leads with heatshrink and place it under the silicone heater at the edge? Or is there a better way?
I presume to use one on the hot end it would have to be more like 300 deg C and be attached to the heater block?

I started with a Linear bearing Prusa 2. It's a good printer, then about a year later I made a MendalMax 1.5 with parts printed on the Prusa 2.

I'm not a lawyer.
My take on the subject: You need to give credit to the creator, and the license can't have 'non-commercial' in it. For open source, you have make the source code available. It's always a good idea to ask the creator, if possible.
