Thanks! I thought that Duet WiFi is an add-on board, but it is a completely different printer platform based on Duet.by osnwt - Developers
Quotedc42 The code we are using on the ESP8266 is published at and the patched Arduino ESP8266 core and libraries at . We use a slightly modified version of DuetWebControl 1.11 which is at . Am I right assuming this project is ONLY for original Duet firmware, not for any boards? That is what I did: installed Sanguino support (link is in the README) and flashed it to the Melzi board using ISP programmer and Arduino IDE "Flash bootloader" option (I used USBasp from Hobbyking).by osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
I've talked with a guy in PM. He had similar issue: after flashing my working binary he has the same issue with one way move. As he told me, the issue was resolved after he replaced the bootloader in Melzi. I can not comment why, just for the fact.by osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Few comments: - talking about the ABL, don't forget that Repetier Firmware (at least) now supports also the Distortion Correction. It measures a grid and creates height map. Then it follows it for the first layers and slowly decreases the correction. Just FYI. - using two Z motors in series I see no issue while they are on. As soon as they are released, the X carriage under own weight may go downby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Web app: I think we can just reuse the duet panel app as is? We can do it if we support all mandatory messages or, at least, emulate them in replies using web server code. Repetier and pull requests: I know, I have a very good experience with them as well. But I wonder about principal idea of separation of queues, not a minor fixes or extensions. Either they did not implement separate queues yetby osnwt - Developers
Hi all, I've found this thread looking for a way to add remote capabilities to my printer. At the moment I am considering either web interface like this, or linux host with Repetier-Server or similar. Actually, both because I have two printers and one probably doesn't need linux onboard. I tried this project with latest Repetier-Firmware and found some issues. Since I have not seen any commits tby osnwt - Developers
Yep, I also bought mine from 3d star. Exactly the same result. While I was having issues with customs (they sent printer without ANY customs value declared, and in the end it cost me 18% VAT + customs fee + month of clearance), 3D star seller somehow sent me some info for the printer (but was slow in responses). But after I asked him about the source, he said few times that he sent it to me, butby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
As I said, this printer is now supported (LCD + keypad) by official firmware. The best place to get it is this: (official repository). I put some sample config here: . You may take it, upload to web configurator and download full source package. That config is a bit different than mine. So mine is here (I hope that is it): Also check this pull request: (it is not yet in the official repositoryby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Here is the link to firmware hex file. It was built from official Repetier code using my own config (yet without LCD upgrade, so you can use it). Please save your original firmware first and EEPROM settings, just in case... Sorry for delay: spent a day playing with auto-leveling using servo + mechanical end-stop (keeping Z-min, thanks to shift register LCD). Seems it starts working, now printiby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotebroy55 OSNWT, thank you for this good information. I also have the leadscrew rods and noticed my prints were coming out too small. Had to change the steps per mm in the firmware from 80 to 100 for X and Y, Z is set for 400. Mine are (and originally were) 100/100/400. QuoteI might try changing the baud rate from 115200 to 25000. Not 25'000, but 250'000. The reason is we want faster communicaby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi guys, just found this thread and want to contribute to it a bit. I am also the owner of P802M sold by 3D star @ Aliexpress. Hope my finding may help someone. 1. Firmware. As you know, P802M uses 20x4 LCD and a keypad connected via resistive divider using single analog pin. To the moment the Repetier firmware did not support this, and all firmware sources were a "top secret" of printer makersby osnwt - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi all, I am newbie in 3D printing. After few quick attempts to try different slicers I still think the Skeinforge is the most flexible at the moment (from those which I've seen). Now when I have more-or-less good results, I am trying to beautify my prints. But it seems to me that Skin plugin does not work as expected. Symptoms (using default settings of the plugin): 1) With active skin the skby osnwt - Skeinforge
