Greg, I've attached my files from my as yet properly calibrated Replikeo (still trying to get rid of the upward bowing in the middle of the heated bed). I haven't touched the Configuration_adv.h as of yet, but made a few changes to the configuration.h file. My configuration is using the RepRap Discount Full Graphic Smart Controller. QuoteAbuMaia I must say the stories so far have made me hesitant about ordering from them in the future. To their credit, their after sales service has been nothing short of impressive. It's unfortunate that China post mishandle packages so badly, but the fact they're so quick to organise replacement parts and are improving the components and packaging shows they're working on their shortcomingsby JonT - Prusa i3 and variants
Slightly off-topic, but I just watched Tech2C's video and remembered something important during my build. For Australian customers at least, Replikeo include a two-pin power cord for the power supply. The power supply is in fact designed to have an earth pin which is very important for safety should something break within the power supply. Rather than use the included cable, I used an old powerby JonT - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi All, I've finally finished building my Replikeo i3 (and first 3D printer) today and have just begun calibrating it. I'm still many hours away from my first print though. Replikeo offered excellent service in replacing the broken glass plate with a carbon fibre one as well as a few broken plastic parts - only took a week to arrive in Sydney. The shipment looked a bit battered, but this is probby JonT - Prusa i3 and variants
I have just started building a Replikeo kit and so far so good - about half way there. I ended up receiving a broken fan duct, glass bed and X-axis endstop. I'll be contacting Replikeo shortly to organise a replacement. I've glued the fan duct and X-axis endstop together again, but otherwise, it seems like a decent kit. I can't wait to finish it!by JonT - Prusa i3 and variants
